Location perfect next to gondola, only a short walk in ski boots. 3 hire shops within 100 metres. Rooms clean, warm and comfortable.
All staff friendly and polite.
My biggest complaint is the fixed door stop in the middle of the floor in the bathroom. Very painful to step on or stub toes when walking barefoot. Could end somebodies ski holiday before it has started.
Food is average at best. I stayed in the Hotel Font next door last year and ate at Magic but would say the quality has declined. Often breakfast items like scrambled egg and bacon from the bain-marie were cold and had to be reheated in microwave. There should be condiments, salt and pepper etc. on each table, not have to search around to find them and then have them taken away again by waiting staff.
Located in centre of town with traffic circulating on all sides so some noise on the lower floors.
The bar area can get noisy with kids squabbling around the expensive (2€) and shoddy pool table when adults want to have a quiet drink.
Although not used, there is an extra charge for hotel guests to use the pool and spa facilities.

Food was brilliant and location was very good.
Bring a swim cap and swim foot socks or you can't get on the spa. If you don't intend to use the spa, select the breakfast n dinner option, not half -board :-)
Hotel lounge area can fill with noise that goes up to top level due to hotel design but if you ski hard, you'll sleep through it :-)

Overall, everything: facilities in good condition, cleanliness, water area, the attention and friendliness of the staff, and especially the location, for the ease of access to the Pal Arinsal cable car.

Very slow elevators. Spa Area was uncomfortable due to the cold in the hallway.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. You leave your car in their car park lot and don't need to go anywhere to go skiing. They have direct access to the Pal funicular... what more could you ask for?
La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable. Dejas el coche en su parquing y no necesitas moverte para nada para ir a esquiar. Tienen acceso directo al funicular de pal... que mas se puede pedir???
