About the accommodation
This complex is located in the town of Santo da Serra and is the perfect base from which to embark on a true exploration of the island and enjoy all the activities it has to offer. It is 600 m from the nearest public transport links at Merrion Square and the nearest shop is the small greengrocer located in the center of the village approximately 1 km away. Guests will also find restaurants and bars 1 km from the accommodation and the city of Santa Cruz is 10 km away. The complex is only 7 minutes from Madeira International Airport. This small bungalow complex is a unique and original project whose objective is to highlight the less touristy side of the island. Guests have the option to explore the features that still retain the unique and authentic character of Madeira, the high mountains and the deep blue sea. This rural tourist complex, classified as a 'country house', has been created on the premises of a private farm, in perfect harmony with nature.. There is also a car park available for guests arriving by car. Accommodation consists of 'cabins on stilts' (referred to as bungalows or mountain cabins), with a rustic wooden feel. All are simply decorated and come with a kitchenette and a compact bathroom with a small shower. All are furnished with pieces in natural tones and have pine wood walls and floors. These bungalows are a cross between a cabin, mountain lodge and tree house, and have steep steps leading up to the bedrooms. The accommodation ski offers a double bed and is equipped with a TV, fridge, individually controlled heating and a balcony or terrace. Golf fans can play a round at Santo da Serra Golf, located just a 10-minute drive from the complex.
