O respeito

O lixo, garrafas água por todo o lado

Our overall experience was okay, but there are several areas that need improvement, especially the restaurant. When we arrived, we were given a very spacious family room. However, on our second night, we found it impossible to sleep because the room was directly above one of the hotel's nightclubs. There was also a water leak in the bathroom near the shower and toilet, leaving the floor wet. We requested a room change, and the staff handled it well. We were able to move to another room at 2 p.m., and they kindly allowed us to leave our belongings there while the room was being cleaned so we could go to the beach. The new room was smaller but finally had the garden view we had originally booked. Our first room overlooked old buildings and construction instead. The towel rental service was fine. One inconvenience was having to pay the tourist tax in cash, as card payments were not accepted. This can be difficult for guests, considering the limited ATMs nearby and their high fees. The restaurant was the biggest disappointment. We stayed on a full-board basis, and the organisation was often chaotic. We sometimes had to wait for a table even when empty tables were available, and guests arriving for dinner were not always attended to promptly. Cleanliness also needs significant improvement. Tables and reusable placemats were not always cleaned thoroughly, and the floors were frequently dirty during meal times. We felt that cleanliness was generally better at dinner than at lunch. Breakfast was more relaxed, and we appreciated being able to eat outside. The food was generally okay, but lunch variety was sometimes limited. Desserts, salads and fruit often ran out without being replenished, and we had to ask the kitchen staff to refill them. The grilled food station also needed a clearer queue system, as long queues formed and some people appeared to skip them. There also seemed to be insufficient control over access to the restaurant. Despite guests wearing wristbands, we witnessed situations where people who did not appear to be entitled to meals were eating there. Better access control and a more organised system for managing guest flow could help prevent overcrowding and confusion. On the positive side, the hotel has a good location, around a 10-minute walk from the beach, with interesting shops along the way. Taxis are easy to find, the entertainment can be enjoyable, and the hotel bar is a pleasant place to spend the evening. Overall, the staff were helpful when we needed to change rooms, but the restaurant requires significant improvements in organisation, cleanliness, replenishment and access control. Addressing these issues would make a considerable difference to the guest experience.
