Ideally located right in the center of Belltown, the trendy neighborhood of Seattle, and the thriving shopping district, the hotel is located in the epicenter of the city. This classic terracotta and brick building, originally built in 1926, was completely renovated in 2004 to become the hotel it is today. The hotel reflects a progressive attitude inspired by the Belltown neighborhood in which it is located, full of artist studios, galleries, boutiques and restaurants. The establishment offers its guests a unique and stylish alternative in downtown Seattle. The design of the hotel pays tribute to the strong elements of the northwest (water, wood and stone) and presents influences of Scandinavian design. Upon entering the hotel living room guests will be surrounded by aged parquet floors, carved with custom-made wool carpets, as well as warm walls and rich chestnut-colored woods. Swan chairs by Arne Jacobsen in a warm orange color and minimalist accent lighting complete the relaxed but avant-garde mood. The impressive lobby fireplace, built in veined granite from the region, is surrounded by a library of golden maple wood with shelves from floor to ceiling. It is topped by a floating plasma screen with steel frame, in which you can see a collection of good electronic art in constant change. A laundry service is available for a fee.
