The hotel is located in Canas de Senhorim, with bars, restaurants and the beach within walking distance. The country house is located in the heart of Beira, in Dão Lafões, 50 km from Serra da Estrela (the highest point in Portugal), 150 km from Porto and 250 km from Lisbon, as well as their respective airports. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens, which have been completely renovated, but retain the English style. There are several meeting rooms of different sizes and styles, as well as a TV, reading and games room. The hotel has a typical English bar and the Royal restaurant, where guests can spend very pleasant nights. The hotel has a total of 85 rooms. The hotel rooms are finished in an English style, with different decorations and lots of space. All rooms have private bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer, as well as air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, radio and double beds. In addition, they have Internet connection, safe, central heating and balcony or terrace. The hotel has an outdoor pool and children's playground. A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning, while lunch and dinner are available from set menus and à la carte. From Porto: Take the A1 motorway in the south direction of Lisbon and join the A25 motorway in the direction of Viseu. After the second gas station, you have to exit at Nelas. You must continue on the road 231 to Nelas and follow the indications to the hotel until you reach the cottage.
