Torel Palace Porto is a new five-star boutique hotel in the heart of Porto with 24 bedrooms and suites. This new project of the Torel Boutiques Group is located in one of the most amazing old palaces in Porto, the “Palacete Campos Navarro”. This typical bourgeois palace, dating from 1861, is one of the most impressive and distinguished examples of Porto's romantic architecture. The concept of Torel Palace Porto is to honor Portuguese writers and poets. Each of the 24 bedrooms and suites is individually designed to reflect their works and lives, including Eça de Queiroz, Florbela Espanca and, of course, perhaps the best-known Portuguese writer, Fernando Pessoa. The work of another exceptional writer, José Saramago, is celebrated in our gastronomic space "Blind". “Blind” refers to one of Saramago's most famous novels, “Ensaio sobre a cegueira”. Located on the ground floor of the Torel Palace, the concept of "Blind" is to live the experiences created by Chef Vitor Matos: in a world of customs and authenticity, the senses are put to the test at all times through a fresh cuisine of season, renewed, evolutionary and sensitive. The Torel Palace Porto has a restaurant, a bar, a relaxation area with massages and treatments, as well as a garden with an outdoor pool.
