Gletschergarten Chalet-Hotel

The 125-year-old Hotel Gletschergarten with its magnificent mountain and glacier view is personally run by the 4th and 5th generations with a lot of commitment. All rooms have a newly renovated shower WC or bath WC, TV, WIFI, safe and balcony. Breakfast is included in the room rate, in the evening a fine 4-course menu is served on request. The Hotel Gletschergarten is ideally located at the end of the village near the church and the local history museum, the bus stop is right next to the hotel. All mountain railways can be reached comfortably and in no time with the free local bus. For a fee, guests can be picked up from Grindelwald railway station. In winter the cozy lounge with open fire place invites you to linger. Coin laundry in the house. Reduced admission to the Grindelwald sports center. Ticket and ski pass sales at the reception. There are a small wellness area with sauna and steam bath available.WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.

Children of all ages are allowed. Children 2 and under stay for CHF 15 per person, per night when using an available crib. Children 2 and under stay for CHF 20 per person, per night when using an existing bed. Children from 3 to 6 years old stay for CHF 50 per person, per night when using an existing bed. Children from 7 to 15 years old stay for CHF 70 per person, per night when using an existing bed. Children from 3 to 14 years old stay for CHF 70 per person, per night when using an available extra bed. People 15 and up stay for CHF 90 per person, per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Additional fees are not calculated automatically in the total cost and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
