The name of the hostel dates back to the sixties, when the former hermit of the Sanctuary of Paller, Joan Baptista Tallada, came to Bagá and built the first building to be used as a hostel.
In 1973 the premises were expanded, remaining as it is now. In 2000, the management changed, giving it a new look, making important improvements, but always keeping the flavor of yesteryear.
