          About the accommodation
          This 4-star-superior hotel features panoramic views of Davos, a gourmet restaurant and a spa area with an indoor saltwater pool. This property offers free parking. The award-winning restaurant at the Waldhotel Davos serves international cuisine and classic Graubünden specialties. Spa facilities include a steam bath, sauna, salt water bath, Kneipp pool and gym. A solarium and massage treatments are also available for a fee. The rooms at the Waldhotel have a TV and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Most offer a south-facing balcony with views of Davos. Thomas Mann relied on the Waldhotel, known as the Waldsanatorium until 1957, to create the sanatorium featured in his famous novel Der Zauberberg. Upon request, the Waldhotel offers guests arriving by train a free shuttle bus service from Davos Dorf Station. The bus also takes customers to the nearby ski slopes.
