Celestyal Journey

Your 7-night Greek Islands cruise will be on the Celestyal Journey. It is a new ship that joined the Celestyal Cruises fleet in September 2023 and has capacity for 1260 passengers.

It is remarkable the great amount of gastronomy you will be able to find on board, simple but tasty, with a lot of presence of traditional Greek ingredients and dishes: salads, mousaka, pastitsio, gyros and much more. There are seven restaurants to dine on board, the Leda Casual Dining, the Greek Dali, the Marco Polo Restaurant, the Mediterraneo Restaurant, the Chef's Table, the Grill Speciality Restaurant and the Thalassa Restaurant. The Celestyal Journey is a fully equipped cruise ship, able to satisfy all your desires on board. It has a total of eight bars where you can find a varied selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. In the Θeatro Show Lounge you can enjoy your drink with a show and in the Martini Bar you can enjoy your favourite cocktail. On the ship you can also enjoy its disco and Casino, but if you prefer to relax and unwind, you can visit the different pools of the Spa or get in shape in its gym.

It is not difficult to find Spanish-speaking crew members on board, and the menus and daily newspapers are translated. Spanish speakers are a large group on board, although there is an international atmosphere, with many Americans and Japanese taking advantage of their long holiday to Greece to combine a stay ashore with a short cruise.

Most of the Celestyal Journey's staterooms are outside staterooms, quite compact in size, functional and good looking, with renovated decorations, textiles and finishes where they are most often needed, such as bathroom floors and faucets, but there are also inside staterooms.

The distribution of the cabins is as follows:

• Interior staterooms (^17m2) have two twin beds, a bunk bed, a single or double sofa, television, safe, mini-fridge, climate control and fully-equipped bathroom with shower or bathtub and hairdryer.
• Outside staterooms (^19m2) have a window, two twin beds, television, safe, mini-fridge, air conditioning and bathroom with shower or bathtub and hairdryer.

Undoubtedly, the Celestyal Journey is not a ship for those looking for sophistication, glamour and dazzling facilities, but it is a ship where the experience of visiting the Greek Islands is very pleasant, with better gastronomy, service and atmosphere than some larger and more modern ships.
