Pickalbatros Palais Des Roses

We greatly enjoyed our holiday at this hotel. Its location right by the beach was perfect, and we loved taking daily walks along the marina. Our room was spacious, quiet, and well equipped. The entire hotel is exceptionally clean. We also appreciated the four restaurants, each offering different types of cuisine. Being able to rotate between them meant the dining experience never felt monotonous. Another positive aspect was the well-equipped fitness room. The staff member working there was exceptionally friendly, service‑minded, and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, we also had a few negative experiences. First, we felt we spent an excessive amount of time waiting for the tour service desk to become available—far too much of our precious holiday time was wasted in line. Although the staff member was friendly and service‑oriented, he often spent an extremely long time (up to 45 minutes!) assisting a single customer while several others waited. We gave up several times due to the long waits. This became particularly frustrating because we were told that the hotel does not collaborate with operating companies such as Viator. As a result, external tour operators—other than those sold directly by the hotel—were unable to offer pick‑up from the hotel. Another negative experience was the spa. I booked a pedicure, and unfortunately the therapist injured one of my toes, causing it to bleed. It remained painful throughout the entire holiday. We would have expected at least a small reduction in price under the circumstances. Instead, we were charged significantly more than originally indicated, as we were told afterward that the pedicure price did not include nail polishing.This information should be given before the treatment. Additionally, we felt very uncomfortable when asked to complete a feedback form before payment while the staff was watching.
