The hotel is located on Orchard Road, Singapore's main shopping and entertainment hub, and only a 15-minute drive from the financial district, while being easily accessible both inside and outside the Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) area via Mt Elizabeth Link and Scotts Road, respectively. The airport is 20-25 minutes away by car. This fully air-conditioned hotel was renovated in 2006 and has 406 bedrooms and suites spread over 2 towers. In addition, it offers 8 function bedrooms, a business center, pharmacy, hairdressing salon, restaurants, doctor and Internet connection in public areas (free). The annex building houses Superior Rooms (27 m²), Deluxe Rooms (37-45 m²), Deluxe Suites, York Suite and Cabana Rooms (pool area); while in the Tower building are the spacious and recently renovated Torre suites (50m²). There are only 4 Tower Suites on each floor to ensure maximum privacy. All accommodations are equipped with bathroom, minibar, TV with control panel next to the bed, 24-hour movie rental and CNN News and NHK (Japanese) channels, radio, alarm clock, hairdryer, telephone direct line, tea/coffee making facilities and Vingcard electronic locking system for extra security. Within the hotel grounds there is an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace, a jacuzzi and a gym. The hotel offers 2 food and beverage facilities: the White Rose, which serves local and western cuisine, and the Cafe Bar, which serves coffee and tea with a selection of pastries and cakes.
