The hotel is located on a pedestrian street in the old town of Barcelona. The Lyceum Theatre is far 300 meters away. Las Ramblas are just 100 meters from La Barceloneta beach about 1 km from the hotel. Antoni Gaudí's La Pedrera, also called Casa Mila, is about 1.8 km. The hotel opened in 1850, making it one of the oldest hotels in Barcelona. It was remodeled in 2000, preserving the original façade while completely reformed inside.
