I was so happy with Hotel Fonfreda. The staff and cuteness of the rooms was especially notable. Since I relied heavily on reviews going in, I thought i'd return the favor! You will NOT regret staying here for a nice weekend at Baqueira Beret (unless the 20 min commute is a deal-breaker).
Truly nothing.

The rooms are quite basic and old. You can hear the drains from the other rooms and people in the hallway.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Vielha, so you can get around without having to move your car once your skiing day is over. Good value for money. I had a triple room, and it was quite spacious.
Hotel perfectamente ubicado en el centro de Vielha, para poder moverte sin necesidad de mover el coche una vez acabado el dia de esqui. Buena relacion calidad-precio. En mi caso estuve en una habitacion triple y era bastante espaciosa.
The mattress was somewhat uncomfortable and the breakfasts could have been more varied, but overall they met expectations.
El colchón era algo incomodo y los desayunos podrían ser algo mas variados, pero en general cumple expectativas.

The hotel is located in the centre of Vielha, two blocks away there is a wide range of restaurants and shops. It is about 25 minutes from the ski slopes. The staff is very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The car park is not connected to the hotel, it is in an annex building, I recommend booking a space in advance as it may be full and costs €15 per night. The breakfast was very good and varied, the breakfast staff were lovely. The rooms were quite decent, with comfortable beds and a fully-equipped bathroom.
El Hotel esta ubicado en pleno centro de Vielha, a dos calles hay una gran oferta de Restaurantes y tiendas. Se encuentra a unos 25 minutos de las pistas de esquí. El personal es bastante amable y nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitábamos. El parking no conecta con el hotel, esta en un edificio anexo, recomiendo reservar la plaza con anticipación ya que puede que este completo y cuesta 15€ por noche. El desayuno muy bueno y variado, el personal del desayuno es encantador. Las habitaciones bastantes correctas, camas cómodas y baño completo.
The rooms were very dark and had little light, but as I said, they were very adequate. What we liked least was the ski locker service. They offered us a locker at reception, because we couldn't take the skis up to the room. But the locker was shared and wasn't locked or anything. The staff was very friendly and there were no problems, but as a hotel that offers itself for ski tourism on the esquiades website, I think it would be better to have individual, locked ski locker rooms that the customer can keep. Otherwise, as I said, we are very happy.
Las habitaciones eran muy oscuras, tenían poca luz, pero como ya he dicho eran muy correctas. Lo que menos nos gustó fue el servicio del guarda esquís. Nos ofrecieron un armario en recepción, porque no podíamos subir los esquís a la habitación. Pero el armario era compartido y no estaba cerrado con llave ni nada. El personal fue muy amable y no hubo ningún problema, pero como hotel que se ofrece para turismo de esquí en la web de esquiades, creo que seria mejor tener guarda esquís individuales y con llave que pueda quedarse el cliente. Por lo demás, como ya he dicho, estamos muy contentos.

We really liked the hotel, very quiet and well located, normal breakfast buffet but everything was good and sufficient, cold cuts and pastries, juices, coffees, etc. No fried food like bacon.
