Dikker and Thijs is a four star hotel located in the heart of the old city, on the beautiful Prinsengracht canal, on the corner of Leidsestraat. The first Dikker and Co was founded in 1895 by Mr. AW Dikker and soon became famous in Amsterdam and the rest of Holland for its quality. Today, more than 100 years later, the new Dikker and Thijs still respects the spirit of the founders. In 2001, the historic hotel was completely redecorated in a classic and luxurious style. All rooms are comfortable, spacious and elegant, offering a beautiful view over the canal. All rooms are en suite with bath / shower, WC and hairdryer, telephone, flat screen TV, WiFi, mini bar and coffee / tea making facilities.
