          About the accommodation
          La Savoyarde is a family hotel located in the mountains of Chamonix, 10 minutes from the center of the village, with magnificent views of Mont Blanc. This quiet country house was built in 1830, making it one of the oldest Chamionard houses in the region. Although it has been recently renovated and modernized, it still retains its own style and charm of the 19th century. The rooms are individually decorated in the style of Savoy. They are tastefully furnished and equipped with modern bathrooms. Most offer beautiful views of the mountains. The hotel is 50 meters from the Brevant funicular, which connects to the sunny south side of the Chamonix valley. Among the most famous guests who have stayed at La Savoyarde are automobile designer André Citroen, the great English writer Graham Greene and British Field Marshal Montgomery, who has visited Chamonix twice and both times stayed in the hotel.
