10 Ciro Travelled solo Booked on Amimir.com October 2025 Excellent I have to be honest: as a die-hard Napoli fan, crossing the threshold of the J Hotel, in the heart of Continassa, was an almost heroic act of courage! I thought I would have to hide and suffer mockery at breakfast, but instead...surprise! The hotel is really of the highest standard: modern, spotlessly clean, and with an incredibly courteous and professional staff. They treated me like royalty, even though I guess they had a suspicion (or certainty, given the colors I wear) that they were harboring a "sporting enemy." Strengths (forcing me to give a very high grade): Room and Comfort: Very comfortable bed, soundproof room. Slept great, although sleep was disturbed by the thought of all those trophies on display ? ? (Just kidding, eh!). Breakfast: Fantastic, plentiful and quality breakfast. There was a wide sweet and savory selection. The only downside: I searched in vain for a sfogliatella or baba, but had to settle for a very good brioche from Piedmont. It lacks the flavor of Naples, but the quality is all there! Staff: Impeccable! They were welcoming and never out of line. I appreciated their professionalism. A round of applause, indeed. Location: Perfect for those who need to go to the stadium or visit the Reggia. Weaknesses (according to my football faith): Too much "juventinity" in every corner. I missed the view of Vesuvius and felt compelled to sing "O surdato 'nnammurato" in the shower to balance the atmosphere. At the restaurant, I asked for a typical Neapolitan dish. They responded with a smile ... but I had to opt for a Piedmontese dish (which was still delicious). In summary: a 5-star (championship) luxury hotel, run with great care. I highly recommend it to everyone ... even Napoli fans like me, who want to see live where their rivals train and rest, to better study their countermoves! Sincere congratulations! Devo essere onesto: da tifoso sfegatato del Napoli, varcare la soglia del J Hotel, nel cuore della Continassa, è stato un atto di coraggio quasi eroico! Pensavo di dovermi nascondere e di subire sfottò a colazione, invece... sorpresa! L'hotel è davvero di altissimo livello: moderno, pulitissimo e con uno staff incredibilmente cortese e professionale. Mi hanno trattato da re, anche se immagino avessero il sospetto (o la certezza, visti i colori che porto) di ospitare un "nemico sportivo". Punti di Forza (che mi costringono a dare un voto altissimo): Camera e Comfort: Letto comodissimo, stanza insonorizzata. Ho dormito benissimo, anche se il sonno era disturbato dal pensiero di tutti quei trofei esposti... 🏆 (Scherzo, eh!) Colazione: Fantastica, abbondante e di qualità. C'era un'ampia scelta dolce e salata. L'unico neo: ho cercato invano una sfogliatella o un babà, ma ho dovuto accontentarmi di un'ottima brioche piemontese. Manca il sapore di Napoli, ma la qualità c'è tutta! Staff: Impeccabile! Sono stati accoglienti e mai fuori luogo. Ho apprezzato la loro professionalità. Un applauso, davvero. Posizione: Perfetta per chi deve andare allo stadio o visitare la Reggia. Punti di debolezza (secondo la mia fede calcistica): La troppa "juventinità" in ogni angolo. Mi è mancata la vista del Vesuvio e mi sono sentito in dovere di cantare "O surdato 'nnammurato" sotto la doccia per bilanciare l'atmosfera. Al ristorante, ho chiesto un piatto tipico napoletano. Mi hanno risposto con un sorriso... ma ho dovuto optare per un piatto piemontese (che era comunque buonissimo). In sintesi: un hotel di lusso a 5 stelle (del campionato), gestito con grande cura. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti... anche ai tifosi del Napoli come me, che vogliono vedere dal vivo dove i rivali si allenano e si riposano, per studiare meglio le contromosse! Complimenti sinceri!
