          Accommodation description

          La Aldea de Yuste is located in Jarandilla de la Vera (Cáceres), on the La Granja de Yuste estate. The building is built according to the architecture of the area, integrating the traditional features of the fifteenth century.

          The accommodation has a reception until 00:00h (so if you arrive outside these hours, you must notify the accommodation in advance), heating, air conditioning and outdoor car park (free), you will not miss anything.

          All cabins are exterior and have heating, closet, fireplace with unlimited firewood and private bathroom with shower or bathtub.

          Ubicación ideal en plena naturaleza.
          Las cabañas y las instalaciones en general están en estado lamentable. Puertas y ventanas rotas, se cuelan insectos y reptiles en la habitación. La ropa de cama indescriptible . Sin agua caliente. Una lastima que un sitio así ofrezca esa sensación de abandono.

          Una estafa total. La cabaña llena de suciedad, sin luz y sin ninguna comodidad. Hemos pasado un frío tremendo intentando toda la noche poner leña en la chimenea para no quedarnos helados.
          Tienen que mejor todo. Lo único destacar han sido los anfitriones, lo demás - una experiencia muy fea.

          El entorno es inmejorable, y el personal maravilloso, cercano y atento. La comida casera y sencilla, pero deliciosa y abundante. Las cabañas son demasiado austeras, pero si no te importa eso, puedes estar muy a gusto.
          Dejar preparada la chimenea al llegar los clientes. La primera tarde la cabaña era muy fría hasta que conseguimos un buen fuego.

          No me dieron opción de disfrutarlo.
          Salimos de Madrid el viernes. Independientemente del atasco, no conseguimos con “las coordenadas recibidas”, acceder a la aldea, por lo que dormimos en un sitio cercano a Cuacos de Yuste. Avisamos de este percance y al ver que ni se inmutaban, consultamos el inicio de las actividades al día siguiente. Al despertar, intentamos volver a buscar la Aldea y, una vez más, siguiendo las coordenadas (habíamos sido avisados de no utilizar el google maps), nos adentramos en un pinar, sin indicación alguna sobre el centro de multiaventura. Después de media hora dando vueltas, entre las “Quintas”, llegamos a una zona intransitable. Ya no había carreteras de barro y rocas, sólo pinos. Como pudimos, con nuestro pequeño coche y dando botes todo el trayecto, regresamos a la carretera y preguntamos. Unos no lo conocían, otros, nos creían equivocados en el camino… Enviamos un nuevo mensaje, pero no lo leyeron hasta la tarde, así que entretanto, tuvimos que reservar una habitación en otro hotel. Un desastre! Sin indicaciones y sin ayuda, nos gastamos un dineral en dormir y comer.

          You have to know where you're going, don't expect a luxurious room, you're in the middle of nature, you are the invader, not what's there, so forget about any luxury of your daily life and enjoy the surroundings, in short, no complaints.

          Lack of communication and presence on the part of the manager, it would be advisable to accompany the customers more. The beds need new mattresses and the facility needs more resources to take advantage of the incredible potential of the facilities.

          Disappointing
          The accommodation is spectacular if it were well maintained, but it is very neglected. The cleanliness of the huts is sorely lacking, especially the beds (dirty and stained sheets); we personally put towels on top to sleep. In the mornings, the power is cut off for about three hours, and in the afternoons as well. The meals are normal, and in this case, the kitchen was clean. Outdoor activities and a pool that was definitely worth it. The access road is also not good. The best part is the very pleasant and friendly staff.
          La finca es espectacular si estuviese bien cuidada pero está muy dejada. La limpieza de los chozos brilla por su ausencia sobre todo las camas(sábanas sucias y manchadas) personalmente nosotros pusimos tollas encima para dormir.por las mañanas te cortan la luz unas tres horas y por la tarde también.Las comidas normales y en este caso la cocina si estaba limpia. Actividades al aire libre y una piscina que si que merecía la pena. El camino de acceso tampoco es bueno.Lo mejor el personal muy agradables y cercanos.

          "No matter how far away it may be as long as there is cleanliness. The room full of dust mites, sheets and bedspreads with a very bad smell. Almost no light and at times the electricity goes out. The food, we only had one dinner, but enough to see how bad it was. A disaster."

          The place is spectacular. Everything really well integrated. An old monastery house and village from the 15th century. Beautiful. The activities are super cool, David and all the staff are lovely, very attentive to everyone. Having open bar hours is a great point.
          El sitio es espectacular. Realmente mimetizado todo. Una antigua casa monasterio y aldea del siglo XV. Precioso. Las actividades super chulas, David y todo el personal encantadores, muy atentos a todos. Un puntazo las horas e barra libre.
          The generators are turned off in the morning for a while and in the afternoon. Until the night there is no light, so in summer you cannot have a fan plugged in and you cannot sleep, especially in summer... We understand that in that area there is no electricity, but at least there should be generators running 24 hours a day to have basic services like that. The village is 20 minutes away from the road one way and another 20 minutes back. So it is difficult to go buy snacks to spend time at the pool since they only provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but in between if you want to have something to drink or snack on, it is not possible. You can't even buy water, at least there is a spring where the source is in the same village and the water is excellent. The beds are very old, you feel the springs and they make a lot of noise... In short, the place is SPECTACULAR, but with a couple of entrepreneurial machines, improving the beds in the cabins, and having generators running 24 hours would make it a 10.
          Los generadores se apagan por la mañana un rato y por la tarde. Hasta la noche no hay luz por lo que en verano no puedes tener enchufado un ventilador y no puedes dormir la sienta, y más si es verano.... Entendemos q en esa zona no hay luz pero que mínimo que hayan generadores las 24h para poder tener servicios mínimos como ese. El pueblo está a 20 min de la carretera ida y otros 20 vuelta. Por lo que se hace complicado ir a comprar piscolabis para pasar el tiempo en la piscina ya que ellas solo te dan desayuno comida y cena pero entre medias si quieres tomarte algo o picotear no es posible. Ni siquiera comprar agua, por lo menos hay un manantial que la fuente está en la misma aldea y el agua está buenísima. Las camas super antiguas, te clavas los muelles y suenan mucho... En definitiva, el sitio es ESPECTACULAR, pero con un par de máquinas emprendedoras, mejorar las camas e las cabañas y generadores las 24h sería de 10.

          Overall, a pleasant experience. Unbeatable value for money. We stayed for 3 days/2 nights. Complete unwindion in nature. Breakfast at 9:30 am. From 10:30 am to 1 pm activities: climbing wall, zip line, Tibetan bridge, canoes. At 1 pm, open bar at the pool. At 2 pm, lunch... Afternoon activities (in our case, a scavenger hunt). From 8 pm to 9 pm, open bar at the pool, which is huge, you don't expect it to be so big! At 9 pm dinner, and from 10:30 pm to midnight open bar at the winery... Second day hiking, a beautiful and pleasant route. We were lucky to share with 2 other families with children, lovely, who made the stay perfect. Super friendly staff. David, the manager, the best professional possible, you couldn't stop learning from everything he said. It's true that the cabins are not hotel rooms, but without a doubt, if they were, they wouldn't be at this price, considering everything the experience includes.
          En conjunto una grata experiencia. Inmejorable relación calidad-precio. Fuimos 3 días/2 noches. Desconexión total en la naturaleza. Desayuno a las 9:30 horas. De 10:30 a 13 hrs actividades: rocódromo, tirolina, puente tibetano, canoas. A las 13 hrs, barra libre en la piscina. A las 14 hrs, comida... Actividades de la tarde (en nuestro caso gimkana). De 20 a 21 horas, barra libre en la piscina, inmensa por cierto, no te la esperas tan grande!, 21 hrs cena, y de 22:30 a 24 hrs barra libre en la bodega... Segundo día senderismo, ruta bonita y agradable. Tuvimos suerte de convivir con otras 2 familias con niñ@s, encantadoras, q hicieron la estancia, perfecta. Personal súper amable. David, encargado, mejor prerfesional imposible, no dejabas de aprender con todo lo que contaba. Es verdad q las cabañas no son habitaciones de hotel, pero sin lugar a dudas, si lo fueran, no serían a este precio, todo lo q incluye la experiencia.

          Many. The access has a complicated road in regular condition, it is better to go with a four-wheel drive. Ceiling fans at least to endure the heat, some bug repellent, a greater variety of food and not just white label drinks.

          All the experience is indeed incredible and the staff working there, including the owner, are exceptionally kind.

          Going to a place in the middle of summer that does not have air conditioning in the heat of the day was not the wisest decision on our part, but we knew what to expect and we don't blame the establishment at all. It's not a type of tourism for everyone, and this place has probably seen better days, with much higher prices.
          Ir en pleno verano a un sitio que no dispone de aire acondicionado en plena hora de calor no fue la decisión más acertada por nuestra parte pero sabíamos lo que había y no culpamos para nada al establecimiento. No es un tipo de turismo para todos los gustos, y probablemente haya visto mejores épocas, mucho mayor precio, este sitio.
