Casa do Campo is a charming mansion in a beautiful unspoiled area high in the hills above the River Támega. This impressive two-story stone and stucco house is fronted by a wall that encloses a beautiful Renaissance chapel, where mass is still celebrated.
It is a very large estate, owned by a large family, so it is not surprising that the family has renovated some of the bedrooms for guests. All bedrooms are bright and welcoming and each is individually decorated with beautiful antiques.
Upon entering the splendid front door of this noble 17th century manor house, one immediately detects the pungent floral aroma. Casa do Campo boasts an award-winning garden, with its immaculately cut camellias outlined in elegant designs.
