The Hotel Islazul Gran Piedra is located in the Gran Piedra mountain range, in the Sierra Maestra. It is located 26 km from the city of Santiago de Cuba. Its privileged environment preserves abundant endemic flora and fauna. The huge rock that crowns the top of the highest mountain in the range is the third largest solid rock in the world, according to the Guinness Records list. The hotel is also counted within the territory declared a World Biosphere Book, surrounded by ruins of coffee plantations founded by French colonists, declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO. You can access unique sites a few meters from the hotel, including the La Isabelica museum or the attractive Ave del Paraíso botanical garden, among others.
