About the accommodation

This hotel, recognized as the oldest in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, is located about 70 km from Barajas International Airport.

The first recorded event dates back to the end of the 19th century, when Isidro Miranda decided to convert the old theater into a profitable hotel business. Over the years, this hotel maintained its historical flavor and was transformed into a fully renovated and modern establishment with 52 cozy rooms and boasts the latest technology and excellent services. It has a reception with 24-hour check-in/check-out service, elevators, conference room, cafeteria, bar, restaurant and laundry service.

Each room is fully equipped with double bed, telephone, TV, hairdryer, safe, Internet access, adjustable air conditioning and heating. In the cafeteria on the first floor, you can taste the famous chocolate with croutons, a specialty of the hotel.

The chef at Arturo El Escorial, the hotel's restaurant, prepares elaborate and traditional Basque dishes. The restaurant is located on the beautiful glassed-in terrace, an annex of the hotel and a quiet and pleasant place for business lunches and informal dinners.
