About the accommodation

La Posada del Dragon dating back to the nineteenth century, is located in the Cava Baja, the heart of the city of Madrid, in the bohemian neighborhood of La Latina, a place known for its Sunday market of El Rastro. Next to the Plaza Mayor and very close to 100m from the Puerta del Sol 700m. In the area there are 1,500 m the Prado, the Reina Sofia, Thyssen Bornemisza Museum, 800 meters from La Almudena Cathedral, the Royal Palace and Plaza de Oriente. In its rooms reflect 4 different styles that take us to the past, traveling over time for Madrid since its inception, living Baroque times, through its palatial surroundings and ending with the retro character of our days. We are 20 km from the airport and exhibition center and 1,500 meters from the railway resort Atocha.
