          The spa is excellent, and you’re practically on your own. An ideal place to relax and unwind.

          Once I had made the purchase on Jump2spain.com I called to reserve access to the spa, and I was told that, as it was a weekday, this was not necessary. Once there I rang reception and was told that a booking was compulsory to gain access. It wasn’t a problem as there weren’t many people, but this incorrect information given over the phone could have caused us difficulties when trying to enter. Please note that the use of **shoe covers** and **swim caps** is required to access the spa; otherwise they must be bought on site. The images in the app show a bathtub in the bathroom, but when we entered the room we found a shower tray.
          Una vez realizada la compra en Buscounchollo llamé para reservar el acceso al spa, y me dijeron que siendo entre semana no era necesario. Estando allí ya llamé a la recepción y me indicaron que la reserva era obligatoria para poder acceder, no hubo problema porque es verdad que no había gente, pero esta información mal facilitada inicialmente por teléfono podría habernos generado inconvenientes a la hora de acceder. Recordar que es necesario el uso de “patucos” y gorros de piscina para el acceso al spa, si no se deberán comprar allí en el momento. En las imágenes de la app se ve bañera en el baño, y sin embargo, al acceder a la habitación vimos que era plato de ducha.

          The spa is small and, even though you had to book, it was very crowded. You could hardly enjoy the circuit and there was too much noise. We had a two-hour session but only enjoyed 40 minutes; it was impossible to relax with so many people and so much noise.

          Perfect place to spend a few relaxing days. The spa is spacious and everything works perfectly, and it’s close to Toledo for sightseeing. The breakfast offers plenty of food and variety, and the restaurant is outstanding. I recommend it.

          The rooms are fine; they’re old but comfortable. The only negative, in my opinion, is the bedding — the sheets are very stiff and the pillows are too thin and uncomfortable, I left with a rather sore neck. But everything else was fine.

          I don’t understand why they charge a €30 surcharge for requesting a double bed when nothing about this appears in the booking, and they say it’s at the hotel’s discretion yet do nothing to accommodate the guest. Charging €30 at a time when they have availability, instead of making the guest happy without seeking an extra €30, undermines the idea of pleasing customers and encouraging reviews that would help fill the hotel in quieter periods. The friendly treatment and the willingness to accommodate guests whenever possible are being lost.
          No comprendo que al pedir cama matrimonial pidan un suplemento de 30€ cuando en la reserva no aparece nada a este respecto y dicen que es a la voluntad del hotel y no hacen lo más mínimo por complacer al cliente para facturar 30€ en una época en la que tienen disponibilidad y la opción de complacer al cliente sin pretender facturar 30€ adicionales dónde queda el dar gusto al cliente y que sus reseñas sean el llenar un hotel en épocas que no viaja la mayoría de la gente. Se está perdiendo el trato amable y el complacer al cliente siempre que sea posible .
