The Parador is located in the old town, in the heart of the Rias Bajas. By AP-9 motorway exit Pontevedra north, Puente del Burgo and cobbled street in a pedestrian zone. Pontevedra is linked by highway with the main Galician capitals, 23 km from Vigo, 55 from Santiago de Compostela and 120 km from A Coruña. The Parador occupies a palace that was former residence of the Counts of Maceda. It stands in the historic center of the city and combines with exquisite taste royal, noble and stately lines with innumerable references of rural reverie. The carved stone staircase that accesses the first floor stands out.
