The staff where very very nice and welcoming.
The location is not bad, but neither perfect. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which takes you to the slopes. El Tarter is 5 minutes by bus. Buses run about every 20 minutes, which can feel like an eternity if it's cold outside. The ticket price varies according to the destination: 1.9 euros to get to the 'El Tarter' 3.5 euros to 'Pas de la Casa'. Of course, if you go by car everything becomes easier. Both the hotel and the slopes provide parking so it is very convenient . Personally, I didn't find using the bus a bad solution, but if I will go back there I will look for a hotel that allows me to get to the slopes by foot. If you stay many days and especially if you don't have a car, the location of the hotel may not be super ideal. The hotel has nothing close. The inhabited centers are at the foot of the entrances of the slopes. So for every kind of displacement, to go for a walk, go to some bars, or if you don't have the dinner included and want to go to a restaurant, even to go to the a supermarket you have to take the bus. Bus service only until 9 p.m.
Well, honestly the food was not the best. Especially not very varied.
For both breakfast and dinner you will find a kind of cake, which regularly remains. I really don't understand WHY they kept proposing it if it was clear that nobody liked it !!!!
I had 4 dinners. The first one, since we were not many in the hotel, was served at the tables and I liked it very much. The other three nights it was a buffet. Two evenings they proposed exactly the same things. Many meat options but very few vegetables. There was always only salad and a cooked vegetable that didn't even taste. Not to mention the desserts that were not enough even for everyone. In short, don't expect much.
For breakfast very few western options. Forget about croissants. Mainly American breakfast: eggs, becon, sausage and tosts.
As you will also find in the other comments, the wifi is not very good! But it was not among my priorities and I was already aware of it.

A bit further away from lift than I imagined. On a very busy road. No opening window in the room.

Excelent low-coast hotel, adequate services for a 3 star hotel. No luxurys, litle rooms, good food, excelent staff and a nice Bar! Had Wifi on my room.
Nothing to say negative, the only problems are dificult clients that break the rules explained on the check-in!

There were two institutes in Madrid with 120 children, with a menu adapted for them of very low quality, a shame that we had to put up with a dish served at the table. Cold shower water. No control of the children at night or by the hotel or by the adults who went with them, without sleeping at night and with lack of respect for the other guests. Thanks to the experience of the hotel I feel totally cheated and powerless by the bad experience. How could you solve this problem of the schools? giving at least notice. we all pay the same and have the same rights. a very unpleasant experience.
Había dos institutos de madrid con con 120 niños, con un menú adaptado para ellos de bajísima calidad,una vergüenza que tuvimos que aguantar nosotros con plato servido en mesa. Agua de la ducha fría. Calefacción muy baja. Había 120 adolescentes,Nadie me ha avisado de ello,hubiera cambiado el hotel. Ni los tutores ni el personal del hotel les han puesto límites.Éramos los huéspedes quienes salíamos al pasillo a poner orden ,a buscar al recepcionista que no estaba en recepción ni cogía teléfono y a los tutores ,q no estaban controlando a los adolescentes.Corriendompor los pasillos ,gritando ,insultando,llamando al teléfono interno de los que les decíamos q se fueran a su habitación …
Además el menú infantil para todos ,no había otra opción .
La lencería del hotel ,colcha manchada,toallas con agujeros .

We found a double room with two single beds, we asked at reception to change to a bed for a couple and they told us that the hotel was designed for groups, it did not have double beds. Nuestra experiencia en el hotel ha sido muy regular. Nos encontramos con una habitación doble con dos camas individuales, pedimos en recepción el cambio a una cama para pareja y nos dijeron que el hotel estaba diseñado para grupos, no tenia camas dobles. Por supuesto en su página web publicitan camas matrimoniales. Segundo incidente, el hotel dispone de un bufet de desayuno, cuando llegamos al restaurante era plato servido con un huevo, un bacon, una salchicha y pan, lo comentamos con el camarero y nos dijo que no siempre hacían bufet, por supuesto en la página web publicitan “desayuno continental”. Te piden dejar la llave de la habitación cada vez que sales del hotel, en mi caso no la dejé y un señor en la recepción se molestó. Usualmente los hotel advierten a sus clientes del costo de las llaves en caso de pérdida. Por último, nos tocaron toallas con rotos y las camas incomodas. En conclusión una experiencia bastante regular.

El servicio ha sido muy malo, la comida no esta mal, pero reservamos 2 días de bufet libre y solo tuvimos uno, el otro nos pusieron solo un plato y no podíamos pedir mas. Las habitaciones son muy antiguas, el baño de la habitación doble muy pequeño (casi no te puedes ni mover), las camas estaban sucias, abrí la cama y estaba llena de pelos.
A parte tuvimos varios problemas con las maletas, ya que no se podían dejar en una sala del hotel hasta hacer el check in, y no nos ofrecieron ninguna solución.
