The food was good, the breakfast was okay the food was good but not many options however there were a lot of options for the dinner and it was good
There was a group of guys in the room next to us and they made a lot of noise and didn’t care for the other people in the hotel, this is not a problem of the hotel though. The room was okay but the beds could have been better quality and there should be WiFi available in the rooms

The hotel was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly. The food was good and in abundance. The hotel has a shuttle service to the resort, which we found very useful. Picking up the material at the hotel was also handy.
The driver should have told us that the store for returning the material closes for lunch.

We stay at this hotel every year in a group of 20 people or more. They are ALWAYS extremely helpful, friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, despite the fact that we can get a bit rowdy in the evenings. A new feature that made it even better this year-- the ski rental shop comes TO THE HOTEL with the equipment! Amazing.
We were a bit disappointed that when we got there at 8pm on the Friday night, they told us that the kitchen would not be opening, not even bocadillos, and they're not exactly near any restaurants--and we all came by bus, not by car, so there was no food option that night. And the bar doesn't have red wine...had a few disappointed people because of that.

The staff at Hotel Ransol was wonderful! We enjoyed the hearty breakfasts and dinners.
Rooms were spartan, no WiFi available except in the common area.

This is the fifth time we've stayed as a big group in this hotel. The service and staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are comfortable, and it's a great place to stay if you're looking for a ski weekend. The breakfast is perfect for loading up before a day of skiing, and the dinner (though not exactly high quality), is all-you-can-eat and has some variety. The bar and games room stayed open late, and we had a great time as always.
As per usual, the rooms get TOO HOT at night and everyone has to sleep with windows open...

Location, rooms, food, helpfulness of staff, bar, cleanliness, price...we've stayed here 5 times now and it's always great.
THE ROOMS ARE ALWAYS TOOOOOO HOT!!!! None of us could sleep because of the temperature. Nice rooms, but they always feel more like a sauna. With the windows open it was too cold.

The view from the rooms facing the mountains were lovely.The food was excellent especially the breakfast. The staff in reception were very obliging. Overall very happy with the hotel
Only minor issues: No coffee served with the evening buffet which was a pity.
Internet not in the rooms and poor in lobby area

The standard was high for the price. . Excellent room and bathroom.
Great shuttle service to slopes.
A bit far from shops and amenities.
Food could use a bit more variety.

A great little hotel--great breakfast and dinner, options for the vegetarians, rooms were spacious and clean (and very warm!). The shuttle from the hotel to the telecabina ran frequently, but it's also near enough to walk back if you decide to stay at the resort for some apres-ski drinks (as long as you don't mind the uphill aspect!)
There were 14 of us, and we arrived super late (1am), and the receptionist was kind enough to open up the bar so we could all have some pre-bed beers!
A bit of miscommunication with one of the receptionists, but we'll chalk that up to language barriers!
Overall, a great stay.

Everything went well except for two days when they forgot to leave us new towels, but it wasn't a big deal.

Very good
I had never been to this hotel before, but we were absolutely delighted. The service was friendly, the room was adequate (though it could be improved a bit), and the breakfast and dinner were spectacular. Everything was delicious and they kept replenishing the food. There were four of us, and we all loved it, especially the children. We will definitely be back.

Good food, 3 min drive from the free car park of the tarter. The rooms are good.

The staff is not friendly and have no idea of anything you ask them. There is no covered car park (only one car park (check rates at reception) that is not theirs) and the uncovered one has few spaces. There is no ski locker.

Our stay at the Hotel Ransol was outstanding. We especially want to thank Antonio, the manager, for his professionalism and for having such a well-coordinated team. On a daily basis, Joaquim, Lourdes, and Gimena were exceptional, always with a smile. The views of the snow-capped mountains from the room are breathtaking. Regarding car park, the hotel's is free (it's best to arrive early), but the municipal car park lot is just a short walk away and is very reasonably priced with the Grandvalira ski pass discount.
Nuestra estancia en el Hotel Ransol ha sido insuperable. Queremos agradecer especialmente a Antonio, el gerente, por su profesionalidad y por tener un equipo tan bien coordinado. En el día a día, el trato de Joaquim, Lourdes y Gimena fue excepcional, siempre con una sonrisa. Las vistas a las montañas nevadas desde la habitación son un sueño. Sobre el parking, el del hotel es gratuito (mejor llegar temprano), pero el del ayuntamiento está a un paso y sale muy bien de precio con el descuento del forfait de Grandvalira.
