          This accommodation is located in the middle of a natural area in the nucleus of les Masies de Poblet in Espluga Francoli. The commercial area is about 25 kilometres away.

          From the hotel you can easily reach the beach area of Tarragona at about 35 kilometres. In addition, you can find a public transport stop one and a half kilometres away.

          The hotel was built in 1888 and renovated in 2009. It offers its guests numerous facilities, such as a spacious entrance hall, free outdoor car park and a delicious buffet breakfast service.and a delicious buffet breakfast service.

          It's a spectacular setting, with activities nearby and good restaurants. The hotel staff are fantastic, very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was quite decent.

          The rooms are quite basic and in need of renovation, as are the bathrooms. There's no air conditioning (just fans). If you're looking for a romantic and relaxing holiday, this might not be the place for you. The pool, which is a very good size, is usually packed with children playing, and, as you’d expect, shouting and running around. That’s understandable, since it’s a family holiday destination. The problem is that we only found this out when we arrived.
          Las habitaciones son bastante justas y necesitan una reforma, así como los baños. No hay aire acondicionado (sí hay ventiladores). Si lo que buscas es una escapada romántica-relajante, quizás no es tu lugar. La piscina, de muy buen tamaño, suele estar abarrotada de niños jugando y, como es normal, gritando y corriendo. Es entendible, siendo un destino vacacional familiar. El problema es que nosotros nos enteramos al llegar.

          My family and I enjoyed it a lot — no, a great deal. We appreciated the friendliness, the willingness to help, the real desire to do a good job, the cuisine and the delicious breakfasts presented like a perfect 10. You enjoy the apartments or villas (which is what we stayed in), their location, the tranquillity, the courtesy and respect of both guests and staff. The cleanliness, the pool, the nature, the surroundings, some lovely walks and the excellent condition of the facilities. Ahhh! And, even if it sounds repetitive, the staff — with their smiles and readiness to help with whatever you need — make you forget your problems. You arrive frowning and, as soon as you check in, you leave smiling. Just as an anecdote: when we arrived we were told there was a small issue with the booking — there had been an overbooking. We were three and had booked a two-bedroom apartment. Their solution was, “no problem, we’ll assign you a masía”... Amazing — what a fantastic place. It had car park on the doorstep, set away from the little bustle, three bedrooms plus dining room and lounge, a rustic but very pretty kitchen, two fully-equipped bathrooms, a garden and... a view of the Monastery of Poblet with unbeatable sunsets. Oh — and the masía was very well equipped. THANK YOU, TEAM!
          Mi familia, hemos disfrutado mucho no, muchísimo. Se disfruta de la amabilidad, de la disponibilidad, de las ganas de trabajar bien bien, de la gastronomía, de unos desayunos ricos y con una presentación de "10". Disfrutas de los apartamentos o villas (que es lo que nosotros hemos disfrutado), de su localización, de la tranquilidad, el respeto y la corrección de las personas que lo frecuentamos y de sus trabajadores. De la limpieza, de su piscina, de su naturaleza, de su entorno, de unos buenos paseos, del buen estado de sus instalaciones. Ainsss.!! Y aunque sea pesado, del personal, que con su sonrisa y su predisposición a atender lo que necesites, logran que dejes tus problemas olvidados. Entras con el ceño fruncido y nada más entrar al Chek-in, ya sales sonriendo. Solo comentar como anécdota: cuando llegamos nos comentaron que había un pequeño problema en la reserva, había habido overbooking. Nosotros éramos tres y habíamos reservado un apartamento de dos habitaciones. Su solución fué, "no hay problema, le asignamos una masía... Brutal, menudo pedazo de apartamento. Tenía aparcamiento en la puerta, apartados del poco bullicio, tres habitaciones comedor y salón, cocina rústica pero muy bonitas, dos cuartos de baño completos, jardín y... mirado al Monastir de Poblet, con unos atardeceres insuperables. Ah.!! Y super equipada la masía. GRACIAS EQUIPO.!!
