The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are clean and larger than most hotel rooms and very clean.
The fridge was stocked with free soft drinks even though we were only on half board and water is free with meals in the dining room and free at the bar to top up water bottles.
The hotel is located next to the wide sandy beach and promenade which goes on for miles and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
The entertainment/ bar area is mostly open air and was a bit chilly sitting out in October. The entertainment itself wasn't very Spanish, which would have been nice especially for the Spanish guests.
As in a lot of reviews, the hotel asks you not to reserve sunbeds yet people are reserving them at 8 am then going off for the day resulting in a lack of sunbeds.
The dress code in the restaurant isn't observed and for a 5* hotel should be as it lowers the tone of the hotel.
