The Hotel Monasterio de San Francisco 4* was a Franciscan monastery begun to be built by the VII Lord of Palma del Río in 1492, the year of the discovery of America.
The Monastery of San Francisco was the head of the Los Angeles province of the order of San Francisco. monks from this monastery went to California with the expedition of Fray Junípero Serra and founded numerous cities there, including San Francisco and Los Angeles.
This former monastery from 1492, restored in 2007, has a total of 35 double bedrooms spread over two floors. Some of the facilities include an entrance hall, a 2,000 m² garden with an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, a solarium, an organic vegetable garden, various patios, a 19th century cloister.
