This hotel has a prime location in the center of Amsterdam, just a minute's walk from Dam Square. It is situated in the heart of the action, so it is close to shops, restaurants, bars and less than five minutes walk from the red light district, the flower market, canal boat cruises and much, much more.The rooms have been recently renovated and offer attractive rooms with dark wood and a burgundy color scheme and are in good condition and are very comfortable, as are the bathrooms Due to its location, this hotel offers only breakfast and the breakfast room is located on the first floor, accessible only by stairs. It is a traditional building, unpretentious, which is in tune with the surrounding buildings. The lobby is large and cozy with some seating and vending machines. It has a glass frontage from floor to ceiling that offers great views of the city next to its entrance. This is a basic hotel but with one of the most sought after locations in the city. jg / 11/2010
