We were terrified after reading the hotel's comments, and well... The reception was fast and the rooms were quite large and comfortable, although it is true that they smell very musty (I recommend bringing an air freshener). The food at first seemed very good but as the days went by and you saw the same food every day... it gets tiring. But the food in the restaurants is very good. As the day goes by, the pool fills up with shit and at the end of the day it is a bit disgusting to get into the pool. The beach is brown water, although it was cleaning up seaweed compared to other beaches. The location of the hotel is quite bad, you can only get out of there by taxi, which are not exactly cheap. On weekends it is filled with many people. The animators are very good and the activities are entertaining. Inside they are all day trying to sell you things. I recommend telling them that you are leaving the next day and that you no longer have money, so that they leave you alone. I think it might be worth spending a little more and going to another hotel, although it's not like it's bad inside the hotel.... Oh, and I'm pretty sure the cleaners stole a cap and t-shirt from my room...
Íbamos acojonados después de leer los comentarios del hotel, y bueno... La recepción fue rápida y las habitaciones eran bastante grande y cómodas, aunque es cierto que huelen mucho a humedad (recomiendo llevar un ambientador). La comida al principio nos pareció muy buena pero conforme iban pasando los días y veías todos los días la misma comida... cansa. Pero la comida de los restaurantes si está muy buena. La piscina conforme va pasando el día se va llenando de mierda y al final del día si que da un poco de asco meterse en la piscina. La playa es de aguas marrones, aunque estaba limpiando algas en comparación con otras playas. La ubicación del hotel es bastante mala, solo puedes salir de allí en taxi, que no son precisamente baratos. Los fines de semana se llena de muchísima gente. Los animadores son muy buenos y las actividades son entretenidas. Dentro están tooooodo el día intentando venderte cosas. Recomiendo decirles que te vas el día siguiente y que ya no tienes dinero, para que te dejen en paz. Creo que quizás merece la pena gastarse algo más e ir a otro hotel, aunque tampoco es que se pase mal dentro del hotel... Ah, y estoy casi seguro de que las limpiadoras me robaron una gorra y una camiseta de la habitación...

The staff was rude except for 3 entertainers. All the Spaniards who have been there have complained. A lousy vacation!

The experience itself was very nice, it was the first time we visited the Caribbean and we were very lucky to meet wonderful people there, otherwise it would have been 8 very long days.

The hotel was totally abandoned. The rooms were flooded, others full of humidity... the same workers tell you that since the beginning of the covid the Be Live Collection has gone downhill. There is no maintenance at all, cables half spliced, no security, the same light bulbs in the shower had no protective glass and a long list. I recommend that if you are going to visit Punta Cana, don't go to that hotel chain because they screw up your experience.
El hotel abandonado totalmente. Las habitaciones se inundaban, otras llenas de humedad.. los mismos trabajadores te dicen que desde el inicio del covid el Be Live Collection ha ido a pique. No hay nada de mantenimiento, cables a medio empalmar, no hay seguridad, las mismas bombillas de la ducha no tenía cristales protectores y otra larga lista. Recomiendo que si vas a visitar Punta Cana, que no sea en esa cadena de hoteles porque te joden la experiencia.

It was supposed to be an all inclusive adults only but it turns out that although we did sleep in that area we were not allowed to use the rest of the adults only areas, perhaps this should be mentioned or specified in the offer.

Lack of cleanliness in the rooms, they don't change the towels if you don't ask for it, and they don't even change the sheets. The safe is payable and smells terrible. The toilet was clogged and so was the sink. The telephone in the room did not work and no solution was provided. Some hotel staff was unprofessional, both in the knowledge of hotel services and in the attention received. The pools were not cleaned enough and were always full of dirt. Lack of wifi in the room. Certain hotel staff trying to flirt with me with my partner in front of me. We were offered 4 reservation tickets for the restaurants to avoid having to waste time making reservations. In the end they only gave us 3. When we went to complain they told us that the system had blocked it and that they would make the reservation when we used the other 3. When we did so they told us no, that we had misunderstood and that we had to make the reservation ourselves... We also went to ask for a late check-out the day before leaving and they told us that we could not ask for it until the day of departure. In the buffet restaurant you sometimes found pieces of sour fruit and even the omelets that were made for you at the time contained pieces of eggshell. My partner and I had gastroenteritis for several days the last two days. After so many inconveniences we asked to speak to a hotel manager and made a complaint about everything that happened and we were allowed to leave the room the day of departure at 16h instead of 12h for free, although I would have liked to have been allowed to leave the room until my transfer time to the airport 18.30 and to have made a written and not verbal complaint. The hotel was quite a disaster.
Falta limpieza en las habitaciones, no cambian las toallas sino lo pides, incluso tampoco te cambian las sábanas. La caja fuerte es de pago y huele fatal. El wc se atascaba y la pica también. El teléfono de la habitación no funcionaba y no pusieron solución. Cierto personal del hotel no tenía profesionalidad, tanto en el conocimiento de servicios del hotel como en la atención recibida. No limpiaban lo suficiente las piscinas y siempre estaban llenas de suciedad. Falta de wifi en la habitación. Cierto personal del hotel intentando ligar conmigo con mi pareja delante. Nos ofrecieron 4 tickets de reserva para los restaurantes para así evitar tener que perder tiempo reservando. Al final nos dieron solo 3. Al ir a reclamar nos dijeron que el sistema lo tenían bloqueado y que nos harían la reserva al gastar los otros 3. Al hacerlo nos dijeron que no, que lo habíamos entendido mal y que la reserva la teníamos que hacer nosotros… Además fuimos a pedir el día antes de salir un late check-out y nos dijeron que no podíamos pedirlo hasta el día de la salida. En el restaurante tipo buffet a veces encontrabas trozos de fruta ácida e incluso las tortillas que te hacían al momento contenían trozos de cáscara de huevo. Hemos estado mi pareja y yo varios días con gastroenteritis los dos últimos días. Después de tantos inconvenientes pedimos hablar con algún gerente del hotel y hicimos una reclamación de todo lo ocurrido y nos permitieron salir de la habitación el día de la salida a las 16h en vez de a las 12h forma gratuita, aunque me hubiese gustado que me hubieran dejado salir de la habitación hasta mi hora de traslado al aeropuerto 18.30 y haber hecho una reclamación escrita y no verbal. El hotel ha sido bastante desastre.

The hotel has the category of a 5 star but we will leave it in a 5 "asteroids" being generous. The website is not to blame for that. Of course the Be Live hotel is not a good choice given the lack of organization when booking theme restaurants, the poor quality and scarcity of the buffet food as well as the small quantities in the theme restaurants. The lack of coordination between the different services and the tightness of the different departments (the waiters were unaware of the different recreational activities (the shows were at dinner time, etc...) do not help the stay as it should be. Finally, the deterioration of the facilities and the lack of maintenance do not help either (3 days without hot water in room 16409, fused light bulbs, TV that does not work, etc..) to make the stay become the trip of a lifetime. I know other hotels in the same area and any of them have been better.
El hotel tiene la categoria de un 5 estrellas pero lo dejaremos en un 5 "asteroides" siendo generosos. De eso no tiene la culpa la web. Desde luego el hotel Be Live no es una buena opción dada la falta de organización a la hora de reservar restaurantes temáticos, la poca calidad y escasez de la comida buffet así como las pequeñas cantidades en los restaurantes tematicos. La falta de coordinación entre los distintos servicios y la estanqueidad de los distintos departamentos (los camareros desconocian las distintas actividades ludicas (los espectaculos eran a la hora de la cena, etc..) no ayudan a que la estancia sea como debiese ser. Por ultimo, el deterioro de las instalaciones y la falta de mantenimiento tampoco ayudan (3 dias sin agua caliente en la habitacion 16409, bombillas fundidas, Tv que no funciona, etc..) a que la estadía se convierta en el viaje de tu vida. Conozco otros hoteles en la misma zona y cualquiera de ellos ha sido mejor.
