What we liked most was the access to the spa at the thermal baths located within the park; in our case they even gave us free rein over the time and duration of our visit.

It’s a 4-star hotel but it’s a little run-down. For example, the outdoor pool’s water hadn’t been treated and was full of insects. Another issue at breakfast: the coffee machines were broken and they served us Nescafé instant coffee with milk, with no alternative offered.
To top it off, when my family and I tried to shower only scalding hot water came out. The same receptionist came up and ran the water for 10 minutes trying to get cooler water — “trying” because she couldn’t, and we were left halfway.
I’m not giving a lower rating only because some of the staff were very attentive.
Es un hotel de 4 estrellas pero está un poco abandonado,por ejemplo la piscina exterior el agua estaba sin.descalcificar, estaba llena de bichos, otra cosa que nos pasó fue a la hora del desayuno estaban las máquinas de café averiadas y nos pusieron café de Nescafé soluble con leche, sin darnos otra opción.
Para remate a la hora de ducharnos yo y mi familia, solo salía agua ardiente, subió la misma chica de recepción y se tiró , tirando agua 10 minutos, intentando que saliera fría ,digo intento porque no pudo quedándonos a medias.
No le pongo menos nota porque se salvaba alguna trabajadora que fueron muy atentas.

The peaceful setting and the hotel’s excellent location for exploring this area of Portugal.
The best thing about the hotel is its staff, who are very friendly and always willing to help with anything.

The hotel is very run-down, the pool is dirty and the whole accommodation is generally neglected. The rooms are basic but there aren’t any hooks in the bathrooms, so there was nowhere to hang towels to dry after a shower. The breakfast was very poor quality.

Worth it. Clean, comfortable room. The spa has a heated pool, a sauna and a steam room. It looks a little dated but is fine.

They were friendly. They moved us to a better room because the terrace was dirty, very quickly, and made sure everything was fine.
Fueron amables . Nos cambiaron a una habitación mejor por que estaba sucia la terraza, muy rápido y se preocuparonn de que estubiese todó bien.
The spa and thermal baths are off-site, and although they are nice it feels as if you were in another era. The hotel's swimming pool was not open.

The hotel is very well maintained and quite new; the staff’s service is excellent, especially Daniela. Breakfast is fairly varied, and the team is very attentive to replenishing items and looking after the details.

Very pleasant relaxing stay. We did not use the spa or thermal baths. The walk through the park is very pleasant. Close to the Jele mines with a guided tour that is well worth it. I imagine the Tresminas centre is too, but we couldn’t go. The walk around the Alvão lagoon is wonderful.

Light entered the room because the curtains let it through. The bed was very comfortable but I found the pillow a bit flat.

The Pedras Salgadas natural park is a great place to enjoy a peaceful day. The hotel is very nearby, though there isn’t much else to see. The hotel is more than adequate, with spacious, clean rooms. The food is of good quality and well presented. Breakfasts are varied. The service is excellent, and in Spanish. Overall, a very good hotel.
El parque natural de Pedras Salgadas está muy bien para disfruta de un día de tranquilidad. El hotel queda muy cerca aunque no hay mucho más que ver. El hotel es más que correcto, habitaciones amplias y limpias. La comida de calidad, bien presentada. Los desayunos variados. La atención muy buena, y en español. En general muy buen hotel.
We missed having a better-equipped terrace by the pool to sit and enjoy the good weather we had. Nothing significant.
