Good company for getting good prices and trusting company

The process was good and realively painless. While tracelling around Tunisia (6 hotels) we booked through this site and another. They both spoke of local taxes being payable at the destination. This was the only one to enforce this, which was a disappointment.

Based on my experience, I would never use Amimir again. I booked a hotel abroad two weeks in advance. To make sure everything was in order, I contacted the hotel several times by phone and email. Every single time, the hotel told me they had no reservation under my name. I then spent a considerable amount of time contacting Amimir's customer service. Instead of providing clear answers, they kept asking me to wait until the free cancellation period had almost expired. When I asked what would happen if my booking was still not confirmed after the free cancellation deadline, I was told that if I cancelled, I would lose my money—even though the hotel still had no record of my reservation and my trip was only three days away. I asked a simple question: When should my reservation appear in the hotel's system? I was told by a customer service representative, Melanie, that there was no timeline at all. According to her, the booking could appear anywhere between 48 hours and just 3 hours before check-in. She even advised me to travel to another country with my family and simply turn up at the hotel, despite the hotel being unable to confirm my reservation. Only if there was a problem upon arrival would Amimir "try" to find an alternative accommodation—but they couldn't tell me what that alternative would be until I was already there. How is that an acceptable way to treat paying customers? I was expected to travel internationally with my family without a confirmed hotel booking and simply trust that everything would somehow work out. The customer service was extremely disappointing. While I did speak to a couple of polite representatives, others were incredibly rude and dismissive. One representative, whom I believe was called Laura (she refused to give me her name, so I may have remembered it incorrectly), refused to transfer me to a manager and spoke to me as though the company was doing me a favour rather than providing a service I had already paid for. I now have flights booked but no confirmed hotel, and my summer holiday has effectively been ruined because of this experience. My advice, based on what happened to me, is to avoid this website if you value peace of mind when travelling. Before Amimir posts the standard "we're sorry to hear about your experience" response, I suggest you first review your internal records, as every conversation is documented. I've already given the company multiple opportunities to resolve this situation, including writing directly to the Group CEO, who has yet to respond. Instead of another generic apology, I'd like to know what Amimir intends to do to compensate me for the stress, uncertainty, and the disruption to my family's holiday.

I am extremely disappointed with this company. The payment process did not offer me a confirmation for so long that the connection to the website timed out. I assumed it had not gone through and booked an alternative hotel which was more expensive. When I later checked my bank account I found that the payment had in fact been made. I then received a confirmation email, but the room I had paid for did not conform to the description on the hotel website ie no balcony, bath or cancellation option. Also the "Download confirmation voucher" tab does nothing, so I have no proof to show the hotel reception. What I really want is a refund, but that does not appear to be an option!!

Very disappointing experience with Amimir.com. They canceled my reservation without giving any clear explanation. I contacted the hotel directly, and they told me they had never received any booking from Amimir. I contacted Amimir several times for clarification, but their customer service didn’t reply. They also offered no alternative solution. Very poor communication and customer service. I would not recommend booking with them

In my opinion, they provide a reliable service that offers good value and a wide range of booking options. My only issue is that in recent months, they haven't allowed me to pay the €10 booking deposit; instead, I have to pay the full amount upfront. For this reason, I book with them less frequently.

Price and customer service both outstanding. Will use again :)
