Common areas, bar, and breakfast were excellent, and staff appeared polite but clearly overworked.

Unfortunately, our experience was significantly affected by several serious issues that were reported during our stay but not adequately resolved. 1. Cleanliness on arrival Upon arrival, the toilet in our room had visible feces in it, clearly indicating the room had not been properly cleaned. We reported this immediately to reception, and housekeeping later attended to it. However, this is a serious hygiene failure and immediately undermined our trust in the cleanliness of the room. 2. Safety issue There was an exposed electrical plug/wire in the room, creating a clear safety hazard. This was reported to reception during our stay and was never repaired. 3. Room condition and size The room was in very poor condition and did not match what was advertised. It was extremely cramped, with a bunk bed blocking the only window and part of another bed. Nails were visible in the walls, with no artwork or proper finishing. 4. Housekeeping and towels Some towels provided were stained. When we requested fresh towels on the second day, housekeeping refused, stating they had instructions not to change towels—even when left on the floor. This was surprising and unacceptable. 5. Repeated night-time noise disturbances Our sleep was seriously disrupted on multiple nights: - On the night of 1 to 2 of January, there was extremely loud noise caused by furniture being dragged until approximately 1:40 a.m. - On the night of 2 to 3 of January, we were disturbed by a group of intoxicated guests in the neighboring room (I saw staff going into that room, so maybe it was staff quarters which would make even worse). We asked them to lower their voices, but the noise continued. THe reception phone was not working so we got dressed and went to reception in person, and after further delay, reception eventually knocked on their door at approximately 2:22 a.m. These incidents occurred despite us reporting the issues and seeking assistance, and they significantly affected our ability to rest. While the common areas, bar, and breakfast were excellent, and staff appeared polite but clearly overworked, this does not compensate for the overall experience. The issues above represent failures in basic standards of hygiene, safety, room quality, and night-time guest management. Given the seriousness and accumulation of these problems, we believe compensation is fully justified. The hotel never replied to our emails and Esquiades used a lame reply to justify, basiclly aknowloging all problems but saying they did not know while we were there. Don't stay here!

I had a beautiful room with a wonderful wiew. it msmelled hard of soap or some cleaning detergent, But I could open my double doors and lett fresh air inn. I loved it. However, I would have liked a possiblity to get a cup or coffe or tea in the room. Internet was slow, and Tv only spanish. But the wifi worked. The food was excellent.

Garrage right next to hotel. Easy and quick checkin Hotel is being renovated and starting to look really good. There was a good variety of food on the buffet breakfast. New “BESO” Restuarant/club with live music was very nice. Staff were very kind and willing to help.

Rooms look very old and antiquated. Once they are all renovated I’m sure it will make the difference. Unfortunately spa&pool are not opened yet, as advertised. This would have been lovely especially when the weather for skiing was not appropriate. They have removed the games room which my youngest enjoyed previously.

Noise in the rooms is terrible. The floors in the halls are all small tiles and the gaps between the tiles make anyone pulling a suitcase or cleaner trolley make a juddering noise that is unbelievable load. Also as it is all tiles it echoes making it sound much louder. Children shouting and people talking is also echoed and sounds louder. Our first room was below kitchen I think and for two hours from 10.30pm till 00.30am trolley after trolley was wheel into a room then water run very load with banging and then trolley left again the 5 mins later came back. This kept on for 2 hours with no chance to sleep. I complained and they moved our room the next day which was better but still had the hall noise etc. I would not stay there again because of that. Also my son and I wanted to watch a film by streaming it on our iPad in our room whilst laying in our bed after long day skiing but although you could connect to wifi there was no connection to the internet in our room. So we had to get dressed and walk up to public lounge to relax and watch a movie. We took our own drinks but felt bad as were often asked if we wanted to buy a drink. Just wanted to relax in our room and use the internet which is not a big thing in this day and age. I would certainly pick a hotel that had carpeted halls like nearly every hotlel I have ever stayed in and one with wifi in the rooms next time I travel The hotel was located close to the lifts but most accommodation was in Sierra as it is a small town.

The location and the lobby were good

The hotel staff said there was no bar or restaurant, due to the covid. It appears that the other hotels in the area such as the Marriott had bar and restaurant. also bar and restaurants were open around the resort, so what is the difference? It meant that you had to leave the hotel in the evening. So given the fact that covid rules have changed in Spain, I find it a poor excuse. The other thing was we were given paper plates, cups and wooden cutlery to eat breakfast off. Totally not acceptable. Id expect better in a Hostal. It was like a childs picnic. The breakfast was well below average with nothing warm on offer like bacon, eggs, mushroom etc. We have stayed in other hotels in the resort who had a far better selection of foods for breakfast.

La parte remodelada está muy cuidada. Pistas muy cerca, bonitas vistas.

Las habitaciones antiguas, la piscina daba ASCO y en la sauna no paraban de entrar y salir niños. Pésimo servicio de spa.

Quartos e corredores a necessitar de remodelação e manutenção. Limpeza necessita de ser melhorada e têm de aumentar o numero de staff por causa das limpezas gerais.

La ubicación es inmejorable y el servicio de guardaesquís también.

Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, antiguas. Hace un calor insoportable dentro aún quitando la calefacción. Las almohadas no son muy cómodas, pedimos alguna porque son muy finas y su respuesta fue un no rotundo, no dejan más almohadas. El servicio con respecto a la limpieza no es bueno, no reponen el papel, no cambian las toallas a no ser que se lo digas, las juntas de la bañera tiene moho y solo se limpia lo “visible”. Tuvimos problemas con respecto a la reserva, primero con el tipo de habitaciones y después con respecto a haber contratado o no las cenas. El hotel es muy caro con respecto a los servicios y la calidad de los mismos.

El desayuno buffet es muy completo y todo esta muy bueno. La ubicación del hotel también permite disfrutar de unas bonitas vistas- las zonas comunes se ven nuevas y modernas.

El parking no es propio del hotel y ellos lo gestionan, aunque tiene acceso directo al hotel. La calefacción no se podía regular por lo que pasamos calor en la habitación. La habitación es correcta, pero en comparación con el resto del hotel están bastantes desfasadas-quizá por eso el precio un poco excesivo.

Muito Boa Localização e Pequeno Almoço. Vistas fabulosas, nomeadamente para o Pôr do Sol, a partir dos quartos e das zonas comuns. Estas zonas comuns, restaurante, recepção, bar, etc, estão com uma decoração onde apetece passar algum tempo, aproveitando, e bem, as excelentes vistas com janelas amplas.

A limpeza é apenas o suficiente. Mas é um problema dos Hotéis em Sierra Nevada, não deste em particular.

Staff da receção, aquando do checkout. Não me deixaram fazer o checkout, pela falta de controlo de cobrança de extras no restaurante... A Srª da receção, basicamente, não me deixou fazer o checkout, por não acreditar nos extras consumidos no restaurante. Falta de controlo não permite fazer a cobrança dos extras nos quartos... No meu quarto foram contabilizados extras que eu não consumi. Até a Srª da receção não conseguir ter a certeza do que eu consumi, não pude fazer o checkout o que causou demora no processo, assim como o Staff mostra que não acredita nos clientes, pondo em causa a sua palavra, em frente aos outros clientes. Lamentável
