Cortijo Alto de Cariatiz

Located in a strategic place. Just half an hour from the beaches or the natural park of Cabo de Gata. In the middle of the karst landscape of Sorbas, unique in Europe and in the world. Only 15 min separate it from the wonderful world of the Tabernas desert, and less than 1 hour from Sierra Nevada. Built in the manner of the old cortijadas, with a cortijo or central house as a reference and from which the other cortijos are built. Currently our offer is 7 independent farmhouses. Six of them have a living room, bedroom and bathroom. They also have a porch from which you can see all the beauty of the place and you can hear the silence of the place. One of them is adapted for disabled people. The seventh farmhouse has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room, designed for a family. All rooms have TV, fridge and telephone. You can enjoy the pool, which is born between mountains and the library that has many copies and has a computer with Internet connection. But not everything is peace and silence we have a beach bar, unique in the area, settled in an old era, from where you can also see the entire karst landscape and the view reaches Mójacar. Restaurant service for breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte or buffet and cafeteria. Highway A7-E15 of Levante. Coming from Murcia, we take exit 514 towards Sorbas-Tabernas until the Cariatiz turnoff. Coming from Almería taking exit 513 towards Sorbas-TABERNAS, until Cariatiz turnoff. We continue towards Los Alías and, once there, we take the first turn to the right (brief uphill) after the square (a sign indicates an Ecomuseum upon arrival). We sneak between the two houses in front of us and we will see as soon as we climb the slope and from there to the left (downhill) until we reach the ascent to the Cortijo.
