Pues nos ha encantado el ambiente del Hotel. Su diseño, especialmente las habitaciones. El comedor muy amplio y minimalista y la comida no muy variada pero riquísima. Y su ubicación, muy cerca de las Calas.
No. Solamente indicar que los kiwis que sirvieron en la comida estaban muy duros y apenas pudimos probarlo. Demasiado tiempo en las neveras!

Wonderful stay — it truly is a place to unwind and rest. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent: sheets smelled fresh, towels were clean and white. All the staff were very friendly and attentive; we were even able to check into the room a little earlier. The pool was clean and there were comfortable areas to relax.
The buffet was incredible. I had my doubts because of previous reviews, but the quality is evident in how fresh and flavoursome the dishes were; there was something new every day. We ate beautifully — lots of variety for both breakfast and evening meals. For a dinner buffet it was quite comprehensive, so we didn’t need to eat out as everything was already available at dinner. Drink prices aren’t the cheapest — a water never goes below €2.50 — but they’re comparable to other places, like restaurants or bars. The cove nearby is about a seven-minute walk, lovely and private. The adults-only policy was respected during our stay. We didn’t use the gym or attend the shows in the other area; it would be more convenient if they offered something within the hotel facilities.
I hope they finish the renovations soon, as we had a view over the entrance which isn’t enjoyable at the moment — it will surely look beautiful when completed. It’s a place we will definitely return to.
Maravillosa estancia, realmente es un lugar para desconectar y descansar, habitaciones sencillas pero cómodas, la limpieza es maravillosa, sábanas buen olor, toallas limpias y blancas. Todo el personal muy amable, atento, incluso pudimos entrar un poco antes a la habitación, la piscina limpia y espacios cómodos para descansar. El buffet increible, tenia dudas por reseñas anteriores pero realmente la calidad se nota en lo fresco y el sabor de los platos, todos los dias habia algo nuevo, comimos divino, mucha variedad tanto desayuno como noche, para ser cena bastante completa, no hizo falta que comieramos fuera pues ya en la cena teniamos todo. Precio de las bebidas no es el mas económico , mínimo de 2.50€ un agua no baja, pero son precios igual a otros sitios, entiéndase restaurantes o bares. La cala cercana a 7 minutos, hermosa, privada. El solo adultos se respetó durante los dias que estuvimos. No fuimos al otro espacio a disfrutar del gym o los shows, si pudieran hacer algo dentro de las instalaciones del hotel sería más cómodo.
Espero terminen de remodelar pues nos tocó vistas hacia la entrada que por ahora no se disfrutan, seguramente quedará hermoso. Un sitio al que sin duda repetiremos.
The mattresses disappointed us — very soft, which made it a bit difficult to sleep. The TV only had some YouTube; there’s no cable TV, which could be a problem depending on who’s staying. To enjoy Salou it’s ideal to have your own vehicle; the hotel is in a quiet area but somewhat far from the centre to walk to, and it’s a tiring walk. Public transport works well, but we went during a time with many events in the city and, because of the number of people, it was quite tedious — you lose time that you could use to enjoy the beaches more.
Los colchones nos defraudaron, muy blandos, eso nos costó un poco para dormir. El TV solo vimos algo de youtube,no tiene tv cable, depende de quien vaya esto podria ser un problema. Para disfrutar de Salou lo ideal es tener vehiculo propio, el hotel esta en una zona tranquila pero algo alejado del centro para ir a pie, ademas que es un trayecto pesado para caminar, el transporte público funciona bien pero fuimos en fecha de muchos eventos en ciudad y por la cantidad de personas fue bastante tedioso, pierdes tiempo que puedes usar para disfrutar más de las playas.

Peace and relaxation. Not a huge variety of food, but it's very good. Meal times are convenient. Good water pressure and the hot water comes on straight away. The cleaners are very friendly and professional.

The car park is very expensive (€17 per car per day) and the surrounding area only has car park (check rates at reception) (blue zone) that must be paid for every day.
The entertainment is held in another hotel and is aimed at foreigners (both in language and schedule).
They told us the last access time for breakfast was 10:15 (latest time to enter) and before 10:00 many items had already not been replenished, even for those of us who had been there for a while.
El parking es muy caro (17€ por coche y por día) y en la zona solamente existe zona azul (que se paga todos los días).
El entretenimiento es en otro hotel y dirigido a extranjeros (tanto idioma como horario).
Nos dijeron que el último pase para entrar a desayunar era a las 10:15h (hora máxima para entrar) y antes de las 10h ya hubieron muchas cosas son reponer ni para los que estábamos allí hace rato.

The staff in general are very attentive and helpful, the breakfast and dinner buffets are very good and varied, the pool is really nice and the bar provides an acceptable service.
El personal en general es muy atento y servicial, el bufet del desayuno y de la cena son muy buenos y variados, la piscina está muy bien y el bar da un servicio aceptable.
The rooms feel more like a convent than a hotel, very clean though. They have no bedside tables with drawers, the wardrobe has no shelves and there are only four hangers for two people. For two or three days you really don’t need much, especially in summer, but for longer stays you do miss a bit of storage. Despite that, I would return for a short stay.

Everything advertised when booking the room and Half Board — pool, etc. — is exactly what they offer. It's strange that I've read comments complaining about the staff or the food. Honestly, everything is fine. Maybe it's not a five-star hotel, but it's really very, very good.

The beach isn’t actually that close despite it saying 7 minutes — with a family it’s 7 minutes walking downhill, and coming back is uphill. For couples, though, it’s excellent.

Our stay at SunClub Cala Vinya has been fantastic and we’re leaving feeling that we chose exactly the right hotel.
From the very start, we found the staff extremely attentive and friendly. They were always making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible and responded very professionally to any needs we had. We’d especially like to mention Albert and Eudald, who were charming, though really all the staff deserve recognition for the way we were treated.
The hotel really exceeded our expectations. Everything is well maintained, clean, and in excellent condition. You can tell the facilities are new and that a lot of care goes into even the smaller details. We also really liked how peaceful the rooms are: we slept perfectly and barely heard any noise from neighbouring rooms.
Another highlight was the cleanliness. The room was always perfectly presented and throughout our stay the standard of cleaning was really high.
We were also very satisfied with the restaurant. As it's a buffet, we expected the food to be quite basic, but we were surprised by the variety and, above all, the quality of the dishes. There were different types of fish, meat, rice dishes, and many other options, all prepared with great care and really tasty. It was easy to find something different every day.
The pool area was another of our favourite places. We thought it might be too crowded travelling in August, but it was the complete opposite. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the sun loungers are well spaced out, and we always found somewhere to relax. The music and the surroundings really add to the sense of calm.
The bar service also deserves a mention. The cocktails are really well made and perfect for an afternoon by the pool. We especially loved the sangria.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay so much. The hotel met and even exceeded our expectations, from the facilities and the food to the cleanliness and especially the service from the staff. It’s definitely somewhere we’d like to return to another time. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable!
Nuestra estancia en el SunClub Cala Vinya ha sido fantástica y nos vamos con la sensación de haber acertado completamente con la elección del hotel.
Desde el primer momento nos hemos encontrado con un equipo muy atento y amable. Siempre han estado pendientes de que nuestra estancia fuese lo más cómoda posible y han respondido con mucha profesionalidad a cualquier necesidad que hemos tenido. Queremos destacar especialmente a Albert y Eudald, que han sido encantadores con nosotros, aunque en general todo el personal merece una mención por el trato recibido.
El hotel nos ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Todo está muy cuidado, limpio y en unas condiciones excelentes. Se nota que las instalaciones son nuevas y que se presta mucha atención a los pequeños detalles. También nos ha gustado mucho la tranquilidad de las habitaciones: hemos podido descansar perfectamente y apenas se percibe ruido procedente de otras habitaciones.
Otro de los puntos fuertes ha sido la limpieza. La habitación estaba siempre perfectamente acondicionada y durante toda la estancia hemos visto un nivel de limpieza realmente bueno.
En el restaurante también hemos quedado muy satisfechos. Al tratarse de un buffet esperábamos encontrar una oferta más sencilla, pero nos ha sorprendido la variedad y, sobre todo, la calidad de los platos. Había diferentes tipos de pescado, carne, arroces y muchas otras opciones, con preparaciones bastante cuidadas y con muy buen sabor. Es fácil encontrar algo diferente cada día.
La zona de la piscina ha sido otro de nuestros sitios favoritos. Pensábamos que al viajar en agosto podría estar demasiado concurrida, pero ha sido todo lo contrario. El ambiente es muy relajado, las tumbonas están bien distribuidas y siempre hemos podido encontrar un sitio donde descansar. La música y el entorno contribuyen mucho a crear una sensación de tranquilidad.
También merece una mención el servicio de bar. Los cócteles están muy bien preparados y son perfectos para acompañar una tarde junto a la piscina. La sangría, especialmente, nos ha encantado.
En definitiva, hemos disfrutado muchísimo de nuestra estancia. El hotel ha cumplido e incluso superado lo que esperábamos, tanto por las instalaciones como por la comida, la limpieza y, especialmente, por la atención del personal. Sin duda es un lugar al que nos gustaría regresar en otra ocasión. ¡Gracias por habernos hecho disfrutar tanto de las vacaciones!
