          The location is unbeatable and the views from the pool on the top floor are very good.
          La ubicación es inmejorable y las vistas desde la piscina en el último piso muy buenas.
          I think this hotel should not be offered as a 4 star hotel, no matter how much it says so on the facade, it does not deserve more than two stars and the expectations that you create when you hire a 4 star hotel are left on the floor when you arrive at the hotel. I hope you take this into account because I would like to continue booking with you and not get this disappointment.
          Creo que no se debe ofrecer este hotel como un 4 estrellas, por mucho que lo ponga en la fachada, no merece más de dos y las espectativas que te creas cuando contratas un 4 estrellas quedan por los suelos cuando llegas al hotel. Espero que lo tengáis en cuenta porque me gustaría seguir reservando con vosotros y no llevarme este chasco.

          Very friendly people. Spectacular landscapes. Tranquility and cleanliness in the streets in spite of the fire and the numerous works.

          The hotel had no air conditioning!!!! Something unthinkable in a 4 star hotel. The breakfasts were very routine, always the same.... Too many beggars begging in the hotel. The hotel staff is too heavy to offer their services...they overwhelm you in the street.

          The best thing about the accommodation is its location. Ideal for getting to know the city without the need for additional means of transport. Very nice treatment and everything very clean. Free car park.

          The only saving grace were the waiters, who were cordial, and the food, which we complimented the cook on how well he cooked it.

          Our holiday was DISASTEROUS. This hotel does not correspond nor can they sell it with the range of stars they give it. Reception with carpet on the floor, which was very dirty, small rooms, poorly lit and above all very dirty. The reception staff was very rude and gave us bad answers. THIS HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE THE CATEGORY THEY GIVE, NOR HOW THEY SELL IT I AM LOOKING FOR A BARGAIN.
          Nuestro viaje fue DESASTROSO. Este hotel no corresponde ni lo pueden vender con la categoría de estrellas que le dan. Recepción con moqueta en el suelo, la cual estaba sucísima, habitaciones pequeñas, con poca iluminación y sobre todo muy sucias. El personal de recepción era muy borde y nos dio malas contestaciones. ESTE HOTEL NO TIENE LA CATEGORIA QUE DAN, NI COMO LO VENDE BUSCO UN CHOLLO.

          A destacar el personal que trabaja allí, siempre amables y cordiales ayudando en lo que pueden. Puntualidad a la hora de recogernos tanto en el aeropuerto para llevarnos al hotel como luego a la vuelta.
          Del hotel lo que no me ha gustado a mi, ni a nadie de los que iban en el viaje, ha sido que no tuvieran aire acondicionado ni en las habitaciones ni en las zonas comunes, excepto una parte del comedor que cuando se llenaba no se notaba para nada, es decir que hemos pasado un calor infernal. El desayuno... penoso; de salado únicamente tenían el queso en lonchas, el jamón york típico, dos o tres tipos de pan y listo. En cuanto a dulces croissant y bollo de la misma masa. Ensalada de fruta, y yogurt con cereales....La comida (en mi caso la cena) no estaba mal, poca variedad y siempre la carne y el pescado eran empanados. La bebida te la cobran a parte pero algo que no me gustó es que si querías cambiar el postre por un cafe, por ejemplo, te decían que no, que el café también lo pagaras a parte. Y todo esto en un hotel que tiene la calificación de 4 estrellas.

          La ubicación del Hotel es muy buena ya que permite moverte a pié por el centro de Funchal sin ningún problema. Es de agradecer que ofrezcan parking gratuito en el propio hotel, ya que en caso contrario aparcar en las cercanías podría haber supuesto un problema. Personal del hotel muy atento y con buena disposición de atención al viajero.
          No es realmente un hotel de cuatro estrellas: no dispone de aire acondicionado, la piscina es muy pequeña e incluso peligrosa, el comedor no dispone de servicio buffet en las cenas sino que es un menú con sólo dos opciones por plato y con poca variación de un día a otro; las opciones en el buffet del desayuno son bastante limitadas, y en general el mobiliario y equipamientos (WC, duchas,...) del hotel son un tanto anticuados.

          Very disappointing experience with Amimir.com. I paid around AED 300 and received a confirmed hotel booking, but when I arrived, the hotel had no record of my reservation. I contacted Amimir while waiting at reception, but the booking still never reached the hotel. I was left stranded and had to pay the hotel again directly.
