The hotel is quite run-down; some bathrooms are pretty shabby. In my room — and from what I heard — there were ant infestations on the first day; we had to shake them out of the beach basket. I mentioned it and they fumigated. The toilet cistern was broken — they may have fixed it. One of the worst things was the lifts: to give you an idea, on the day we left I carried my suitcases down three flights because every floor had queues for the lifts — far too many people for three small, rather old lifts. In short, price-wise it’s OK, but in terms of quality I don’t think it deserves four stars and it has a lot of room for improvement.
El hotel está bastante envejecido,hay baños que son bastante cutres,en mi habitación y por lo que oí..habían plagas de hormigas el primer día a sacudidas las sacábamos del capazo de la playa,lo comente y fumigaron. La cisterna del baño rota .igual lo arreglaron y creo que algo de lo peor...los ascensores por hacer una idea el día que nos fuimos baje 3pisos con las maletas por qué en todas las plantas habían colas para cogerlos demasiada gente para 3ascensores pequeños y bastante viejos en fin precio...si calidad para mí no de un 4* tiene mucho que mejorar

The buffet food was quite repetitive. Very little choice. One day they served churros with chocolate for breakfast but when we went down at 9am they had already run out and did not bring out any more. Unpleasant detail, as during the scheduled serving time everyone should have the same options.

The hotel is perfect whether you’re travelling with family, as a couple or with friends. It’s close to the beach and the seafront is spectacular at night. They have lots of activities scheduled every day for both children and adults. At first I had doubts about the buffet because I’d read many negative reviews saying the food was repetitive, but in my view that isn’t the case. Every day there were items that changed and items that stayed the same, just like at any hotel buffet.
El hotel es perfecto tanto si quieres ir en familia como en pareja o con amigos. Está cerca de la playa y el paseo marítimo es un espectáculo por las noches. Tienen muchas actividades programadas todos los días, tanto para niños como para adultos. Al principio tenía dudas sobre cómo sería el buffet porque había encontrado muchas reseñas negativas sobre que la comida era repetitiva, pero bajo mi punto de vista no es así. Todos los días habían cosas que variaban y cosas que siempre eran las mismas, pero como en todos los buffet de hotel.
What I would improve are the rooms. To be honest it wasn’t very attractive and the bathroom door in our room was very worn, but at the end of the day that’s a matter of taste and you don’t spend that much time in the room, and it was quite clean. One thing that wasn’t available and that I would have liked is the option of drinks being included.

La verdad es que no era muy bonita y la puerta del baño de nuestra habitación estaba muy desgastada, pero al fin y al cabo eso es cuestión de gustos y en la habitación tampoco se pasa tanto tiempo, y además estaba bastante limpia. Excellent value for money. It may be closer to a 3* hotel, but everything is pretty good. Good variety at mealtimes, a well-sized pool (obviously you need to arrive early to secure sunbeds), and a spacious room.

The cleanliness leaves something to be desired. When we were given the room there were food scraps from previous guests on the floor, sand from the beach was noticeable on the floor and by the bathroom door. The hotel itself is fine but could do with a bit of renovation. It takes about 7-8 minutes on foot to reach the beach.

Our experience at this hotel has been rather disappointing and, frankly, we do not believe it is an establishment worthy of 4 stars.
The first thing that stands out is the management of the lifts. For a seven-storey building there are only three lifts, and using them was practically impossible. Most of the time we ended up taking the stairs because the waits were endless.
The buffet is another major negative. At peak times it was impossible to access: there were huge queues to get in and, once inside, it was practically a scramble to get food. The variety was quite poor and the desserts were especially disappointing, as the same five items were rotated throughout our stay. In addition, many items seemed watery: the juice was virtually undrinkable and even the jelly seemed like coloured water.
Another detail we found incomprehensible is that, despite paying Full Board, not a single bottle of water is included with meals. We consider this a basic service that should be provided.
The rooms leave much to be desired. The walls are paper-thin and you can hear absolutely everything happening in the corridor and neighbouring rooms. Added to this, the cleaning staff make a lot of noise from early on, with little regard for those who may still be resting. If you are unlucky enough to have a crying or screaming child nearby, getting any sleep is virtually impossible.
One night at 6 a.m. the fire alarm went off and woke us all. No one explained what was happening and we received no apology for the disturbance.
As for the condition of the room, it needs refurbishment and much deeper cleaning. The towels are a real lottery: I recommend checking them before use because several were dirty and had other guests’ hairs on them. The bed had a pronounced sag due to a worn mattress, making sleeping quite uncomfortable. The shower also only had a half-door, so it was impossible to shower without the water flooding part of the bathroom.
The pool area is also not up to the standard expected of a hotel of this range. The pools are small for the number of people staying in the hotel and the apartments. Getting a sunbed was almost impossible because many guests left towels on them first thing and occupied them all day without really using them. In addition, many sunbeds were so worn they had the same problem as the bed: a huge sag that made lying on them very uncomfortable. Finally, the entertainment seemed very limited, short-lived and rather poor.
To make matters worse, car park in the area is practically impossible. The hotel offers its own car park, but we found the price completely excessive: €15 per day, which is a significant extra cost if you stay for several days.
In short, our experience was very negative. We believe this hotel needs to make significant improvements to both its facilities and the organisation and quality of the services it offers. It is certainly not a hotel we would recommend or return to.
Nuestra experiencia en este hotel ha sido bastante decepcionante y, sinceramente, no creemos que sea un establecimiento que merezca tener 4 estrellas.
Lo primero que llama la atención es la gestión de los ascensores. Para un edificio de 7 plantas solo hay 3 ascensores, y utilizarlos era prácticamente una misión imposible. En la mayoría de las ocasiones acabábamos usando las escaleras porque las esperas eran interminables.
El buffet es otro de los grandes puntos negativos. En las horas punta era imposible acceder: había colas enormes para entrar y, una vez dentro, era prácticamente una lucha por conseguir comida. La variedad era bastante pobre y los postres fueron especialmente decepcionantes, ya que durante toda la estancia iban rotando prácticamente los mismos cinco. Además, muchos productos parecían aguados: el zumo era prácticamente imbebible y hasta la gelatina parecía agua con colorante.
Otro detalle que nos pareció incomprensible es que, pagando pensión completa, no se incluya ni una simple botella de agua durante las comidas. Nos parece un servicio básico que debería estar contemplado.
Las habitaciones dejan mucho que desear. Las paredes son de papel y se escucha absolutamente todo lo que ocurre en el pasillo y en las habitaciones contiguas. A esto se suma que el personal de limpieza hace bastante ruido desde primera hora, sin demasiado respeto por quienes aún puedan estar descansando. Si además tienes la mala suerte de coincidir con algún niño llorando o gritando, descansar resulta prácticamente imposible.
Una de las noches, a las 6 de la mañana, sonó la alarma de incendios y nos despertó a todos. Nadie nos explicó qué estaba ocurriendo ni recibimos ninguna disculpa por las molestias ocasionadas.
En cuanto al estado de la habitación, necesita una renovación y una limpieza mucho más profunda. Las toallas son una auténtica lotería: recomiendo revisarlas antes de usarlas porque varias estaban sucias y con pelos de otros huéspedes. La cama tenía un hundimiento muy acusado por el desgaste del colchón, haciendo que dormir fuera bastante incómodo. La ducha, además, solo tenía una semipuerta, por lo que era imposible ducharse sin que el agua acabara inundando parte del baño.
La zona de piscinas tampoco está a la altura de un hotel de esta categoría. Las piscinas resultan pequeñas para la cantidad de personas alojadas entre el hotel y los apartamentos. Conseguir una tumbona era casi imposible porque muchos huéspedes dejaban la toalla desde primera hora y la ocupaban durante todo el día sin apenas utilizarla. Además, muchas tumbonas estaban tan desgastadas que tenían el mismo problema que la cama: un hundimiento enorme que hacía muy incómodo tumbarse. Por último, la animación nos pareció muy escasa, de poca duración y bastante pobre.
Por si fuera poco, aparcar por la zona es prácticamente imposible. El hotel ofrece un aparcamiento propio, pero el precio nos pareció completamente abusivo: 15 € al día, lo que supone un gasto adicional importante si te alojas varios días.
En definitiva, nuestra experiencia ha sido muy negativa. Creemos que este hotel necesita mejorar de forma importante tanto sus instalaciones como la organización y la calidad de los servicios que ofrece. Desde luego, no es un hotel que recomendaríamos ni al que volveríamos.
