The hotel is located on the north side of the island, about 25 minutes' walk from São Vicente town center and the sea. Madeira Airport is approximately 45 km away. The hotel dates back to the 18th century and was restored in 1994 to preserve its original look but introducing modern amenities. It comprises a total of 7 rooms and is a cheerful establishment with comfortable furniture. It has a lounge on the ground floor with a fireplace that warms all common areas. Guests will find a small self-service bar and those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the parking lot. All accommodations have a private bathroom, TV and individually regulated air conditioning. From the airport, take the motorway towards Funchal and Ribeira Brava. After leaving Ribeira Brava, you should continue to the hill following signs for São Vicente. After passing through the Serra de Água, there is a tunnel that leads to São Vicente. Exit at São Vicente, continue towards the city center and at the first roundabout take the first street on the right. Further on you will find another roundabout which you will have to pass to exit the first road on the right. Continue following signs for 'Solar da Bica'. Then you go up the hill towards the church two Lameiros. Finally, you take a street on the left in front of the church tower and climb 150 meters to find the hotel's pink building.
