The hotel is located between the Gironde River and the Atlantic coast in the famous Medoc wine region. It is 40 minutes from central Bordeaux, 45 minutes from St Jean de Bordeaux TGV train station and 30 minutes from Bordeaux-Mérignac airport. The building was created by Vincent de Cantenac and belonged to the large Bordelaise family for over a century. It was part of Margaux Castle until 1984 and later became a country house in 1985, preserving the privacy of the old family home and combining it with modern luxury and comfort.
