          Situated in the heart of bustling Newcastle upon Tyne, the non-smoking 3-star Royal Station Hotel combines elegant Victorian architecture with modern facilities and prides itself on courteous and friendly service. Inaugurated by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1858, the hotel was recently renovated to a very high standard and now features 144 spacious en suite rooms, a choice of fourteen versatile conference suites, the largest of which can accommodate up to 200 delegates without wired high-speed internet throughout, a leisure club with indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room and cold pool, plus a fitness area and the popular Jalou bar. The Leisure Center is open 7 days a week (excluding holidays). Conveniently located next to Central Station, the hotel is the ideal base for exploring Newcastle upon Tyne, whether for business or pleasure. During the festive period, Leisure Club opening hours will be restricted at the Royal Station Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne. Contact hotel for more opening hours information.           Poor customer protection. The platform accepted a booking impossible to access due to expired check-in hours and was not refunded. Very disappointing experience!

          I found them on the Internet, i made a fast research over de credibility of amimir.com and i booked fast because was cheaper than booking.com. I choose to pay only 10euro in advance and all the rest 1 week before travelling. Sure i will choose them next time. Thank you!

          Hidden cancellation trap
          Hidden cancellation trap, dead phone lines, and silence I cancelled my booking (ref 3793920402) on 16 May 2026, well within the free-cancellation period that ran until 19 May. The cancellation failed for one reason only: the secondary “confirmation” email their system requires went straight to my spam folder. You are never asked to confirm twice when booking — only when cancelling — which makes this a trap, not a genuine process. I had to cancel for an unavoidable medical reason and sent a doctor’s certificate. The hotel itself agreed to waive all fees and approved a full refund. Despite that, Amimir still refused to refund me. On top of this, every phone number on their website is dead — I tried repeatedly and not a single one connects. When I emailed, they hid behind “we are only an intermediary, not the direct provider,” pretended they would look into mediating, and then simply went silent. No reply, no refund, nothing. If you book here, understand that there is no real customer service when something goes wrong. Avoid.
