You will discover one of the most representative coasts of Spain, the Costa Brava. There is something for all tastes: some more urban, others with very little flow .... which one is your favorite?

First, the most popular beach in the whole municipality is the same name, the beach of Lloret. Just steps from the village is the coastal area of 1.6 km long. If what you want is out of your hotel in Lloret de Mar and cool without walking a lot, this is your beach!

Secondly we find the beach of Fenals. With 700 meters long, this place has calm waters thanks to its excellent location as it is protected from the wind by a large massif. It is also this same natural phenomenon that separates the center of Lloret de Mar from this famous beach. If what you're looking for is sports activities such as kayaking and water skiing, beach Fenals is ideal.

But if you prefer a smaller beach can go to Cala Sa Boadella. It is located in the suburbs and only has 250 meters long. All around a thick pine forest and many cliffs rise under which you can snorkel and dive. In addition, this beach is enabled for nudism.

Finally, Cala Banys is the perfect beach for those who do not like the sand. To access it you must walk the walk round from Lloret Beach. Here, the depth of water is much higher.

          Iberian culture

If you think Lloret de Mar is only a destination for those who want to enjoy the beach you are totally wrong. In surroundings you can find places of high tourist interest and that will delight lovers of the ruins and archaeological remains. In the last 100 years we have found three small Iberian towns of Lloret de Mar, all located in strategic areas to defend the city.

Montbarbat is the largest and most important in the area of 5.700m2 extension site. In its surroundings imposing walls and defensive towers rise. During the expedition, they found streets, homes and buildings dating between the third and fourth centuries BC Although it is the farthest from the city center where most hotels Lloret de Mar are located (10 km )'re worth really worth it!

On the other hand, around the town you can visit the Puig de Castellet site dates from the third century BC is a small enclosure of 650 meters located on the mountain that bears the same name. So studies indicate, is believed to be a lookout point over the sea during the Punic Wars between Rome and Carthage. And you know what? You can visit it in its entirety as it is fully exposed.

Finally, across Plaja Castle is situated Turo Rodo, the closest to the sea of the three. It was founded about 200 BC, when the territory was pacified and other settlements were depopulated. It is very likely to be a settlement outpost of Montbarbat.

And if you are interested in archaeological exhibitions, you can not visit the Museum of Archaeology Can Saragossa. There you can take a look at the collection of Joan Llaverias, shown permanently.

To consider! These deposits are subject to schedules that vary depending on the date, so you should first consult the exact moment that will begin this activity.

Amimir is scamming people with fake adds
I have booked a room in Paris for the 3rd of june 2026 at 20:30 PM. When I wanted to check-in at 23:00 there was no reception there, only a contact number. I contacted the owner of the ad, he told me that the check in is only made before 19:00. If I made the booking at 20:30, how can I travel back in time to check in at 19:00? I couldnt get in, now I require my money back and they dont want to issue them! Unprofesional!

          No need to worry
I was a bit worried at the start because much lower rates than competition and a tiny advance to secure the booking was a bit suspicous to me. I also did not know anybody who used amimir. At the end of the day I got a really nice hotel for a great price with no problems whatsoever. I highly recommend the website and I will use it again.

          Minamark Beach Resort
I took my two granddaughters to Egypt. First room was just big enough to fit the 3 beds in and not much else, the room they moved us to next, was a little larger but had broken air con and you could have shaken hands with the hotel next door. There was a large generator which you could hear humming all night. The third room faced the street and all you heard all night was banging, cars and a lot of police sirens. I would only rate the hotel as a 2-3 star not a 4 star as advertised. The lobby area is very grand and spotless, shame this was the only clean area in the hotel. The rooms are very dated and the standard of cleaning had a lot to be desired. The bottom of the door frames have rotted and it looks like the cleaner opens the bathroom door and mops from there... definitely doesn't go in the bathroom and mop behind the door. Bathrooms are very small, just enough room for one person. The hotel currently has an infestation of pigeons, which do what pigeons normally do outside and inside the hotel... Cleaner is happy to clean the window but left the window ledges full of bird poo. The mattresses are very old and very uncomfortable, which matched the pillows which were either rock hard or flat as a pancake. The best night’s sleep I had on the holiday was on the plane on the way home. The pool area is too small for the number of rooms; if you are not poolside by 7 am you won't get a spot. The beach is much the same, too small for the number of guests. If you can get around the pool or on the beach they are quite nice, though you will share your swim with the pigeons that swoop down and cool off in the swimming pool. I picked up an eye infection on holiday, I am sure this was due to the pool. The hotel has a policy of no reserving beds with towels. If you towel is unattended for more than an hour it will be removed.... Just a shame they don’t enforce this, and knowing Egypt like I do I am sure the towel police are getting tips to ignore the towels. We saw towels on unattended sun beds all morning but when you mentioned this to the beach staff, nothing was done about it. The food was bland at best. I have been going to Egypt for 20 + years so I know what the food is normally like... This has set a new low standard. For those of you who like to post on Facebook about your holiday... You will have to wait until you get home. WiFi is an additional charge and though you "can" get the WiFi in your rooms the only place you stand a chance of keeping a signal is in the lobby. If you can get and stay connected to the WiFi, the internet speed is like an old dial up service shared between 100 guest who repeatedly get disconnected because the phone thinks there is no Internet on the WiFi. Two teenage granddaughters thought the world had come to an end. The hotel was occupied mainly by Egyptians. We only found 2 other British people at the hotel and they like us opted to eat out, even though we were all inclusive. If you are back packing and just stopping a night or two before moving on, it's a cheap hotel. If you are going for a relaxing holiday, don't stay here. Making the booking with Amimir.com was a nice experience, The booking was easy, comms were good and even when I had to change the booking, it was straight forward... Just a shame about where we booked.
